  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Unless theyre damn-near ripe, no they wont ripen off the tree.  And they ripen super fast so that's why theyre not really commercially cultivated.  You have to get them fast and before the animals get to them.   You can substitute them for bananas, so like a banana bread recipe will work.  You dont want them over ripe though because they get mushy and gross.

Me and this country dude humped through the brush along an old railroad trail for like 45 min to get to his secret spot and there were like 100 trees.

To be honest the taste isnt amazing but the novelty of this weird, tropical looking fruit is worth it. Its the largest native fruit in the US and most people dont even know about it.  I bet you can find them in spots in PA too.

Agree on all your points (without quoting the entire post) -- but, please -- the ignore feature.  If everyone would just put these tools on ignore instead of entertaining them for 5-10 pages it would do a lot to clean up your frustrations and others as well.  They WANT the back-and-forth and name-calling; it's entertainment for them.  Without it, sooner or later they will leave

I have quite a few people on ignore, and I'm sure just as many have me on ignore.  I do so because conversation with them becomes pointless and confrontational, not because they're bad people.  The moderators likely have full time jobs and don't have the time or energy to read the blog all day.

One feature I've suggested before and will suggest again is, when you have a user on ignore it should also not show any replies to them by other posters.  When folks actively engage these trolls it forces everyone else to have to read the pettiness as well.

It's amazing to me that people don't use the ignore feature

I put a lot of this on coaching. However, I see their point if it costs wins. Hurts is who he is. Let’s just hope he keeps being the best version of himself and the D-Line stops sucking

His reason for the bailing of the pocket on that one play was because no one was open. My counter to that is what if he stayed in the pocket until someone perhaps got open? Hurts had a timer in his head and no one was open during it so he ran

I agree with the rest

You should watch it again. Brown was open and Hurts had just enough time to get it to him. If Hurts stayed in the pocket and didn't throw he would have been sacked.

Things going well in Dallas.

There were definitely a few times last game where he had to bail because of a collapsing pocket/free rusher. I would like to see him reset after bailing more frequently though. Once he gets going it seems as if he fully commits instead of keeping his eyes downfield early on. We'll see.

Seems not long ago, he was supposed to be the next hot thing as far as play callers go.

Both are smaller (5’8) and coming out of LSU CEH was a really good receiving back. His first two years in the league the chiefs just haven’t utilized it. They have so far this year. He has 7 receptions already. Had only 19 last year and 36 the year before. I think westbrook is a more elusive back than CEH who uses more power. But coming out of college CEH was a very good receiving back in his last year and people thought they’d use him similarly to how reid used westbrook.

It feels like they just haven't needed to use him.  He was added after they won the SB to a team of loaded offensive weapons and a QB that can sling it around the yard with ease, where Westbrook had a huge portion of Andy Reid's playcard dedicated to him.  With that being said, I totally agree that Westbrook was much more elusive.  CEH might try to use power, but I think Westbrook has the edge there too.  Westbrook was a thick freak and still could have transitioned into a slot receiver role in today's NFL (which I think McCaffery should start thinking about).

I don't think you're talking about the same play that I am. I'm talking about this one

Payton will be their coach by Thanksgiving

The Saints would have to agree to that, meaning that Dallas would have to send them a boatload of draft picks. It's hard to imagine something like that happening during a season.

Genuinely impressive he has 5 starts in 13 years. At what point is it not injury luck and more like voodoo?
