Yep.  Eagles are winning the SB with Hurts, Gannon and Sirianni!  Let’s go!!

We are NFC favorites as we have the MVP at this point. Only thing stopping us is god himself.

I agree with this.  The offense seems like it should be able to produce points against good teamsk but the reality is that last season they only were able to score late in games.  They haven't really been able to keep up with an offense in a shoot out type game.  The defense, for me, is the bigger question.  I think another underwhelming performance puts a real potential cap on this season.  It also means they should just get rid of Gannon sooner rather than later.  He's not the answer and won't be for anyone until he learns more.

Would you say they were mostly garbage time points?

Again, the context is important. If we won 3-0 and Hurts threw five picks, would that absolve him from criticism?

You would think that was his stat line from the Detroit game based on the posts made by some people here all week.

Burrow did miss all of the pre-season and doesn't seem to have the best OC.  I think he will get better as the season goes on this year.

If we win 3-0, I will not complain about Gannon for a week.

I think it is a bit more than that.  @Iggles_Phan has made some pretty good posts about whether it is sustainable.  Vick was a better runner than Hurts but the hits added up and he missed games.  McNabb had to change his game.  @austinfan catches a lot of grief about his "unproven” comment. But part of his point was consistency over multiple years, especially as the talent around the player changes.  The questions around Hurts style aren’t limited to whether he can beat a good team.  It involves whether he can do it consistently over a period of years.  Howie and the coaches are facing a question soon about extending Hurts or continuing to look elsewhere.  Frankly, the running in camp and the called QB runs against the Lions suggest they will utilize Hurts to the best of his abilities and continue to look towards improving the position, recognizing that is a bit like hunting a unicorn.

Don't disagree but multiple years is an impossible bar to hit right now so tonight's game is the next sample. People saying Hurts game can't evolve because they didn't like a few plays in game 1 of his second season starting are who they are. The odds of Hurts transforming into a top 10 QB are small but I'm willing to watch this season and hope for the best.  The offseason is months off.

I want to see the trend we saw last year that continued this in week not occur tonight and that's the opposing team opening with a scoring drive.

Brain-trust that suggests Matt Ryan is toast and the Jags defense is actually formidable...

In Reich’s defense… he has an old QB that had no WR help. Pittman was out. But yeah to get completely shutout was not good. I never bought into Ryan being an upgrade over Wentz. Fewer mistakes, sure, but not the same level of arm talent and athleticism.

I think it's fair to say that Reich/Pederson are better together, than apart.

Look at McDaniels/Belicheck.

Yes. Bad contracts and poor drafting. Doug wasn’t blameless though.

The entire team comes into games under Sirriani/Gannon looking unprepared each week.  I often wonder what the actual game plan is.  I'd like to see that trend reversed

... TOO LATE!

I wonder what coach Tony D'Amato would say to prepare the team for tonight

I would like to see Doug be successful in Jville . He is a good guy .

I would've been smiling too

I would be curious to know the playoff incentives.  You have to figure they are now the favorites to win the NFCW.

Did the Rams disappear?

The 49ers always play the Rams tough too.

Offensive line has not played well, and Stafford has been turning the ball over.  49ers also won both regular season games against them last year.

The Vikings may have a problem with run defense, which should be good news for the Eagles
