Ok.  Game on now.   Initial energy boost for the home opener has come and gone.   Eagles need to stay hot... and the defense needs to tackle better moving forward.   Oh, and having Reddick drop in coverage... that one can be removed from the game plan.

I love that Hurts got the ball to Watson with him only needing to slow down, but Hurts put everything into that throw and it quacked all the way there.  Allen just ripped the same throw perfectly flicking his wrist from his hip.

I'd never root against the defense, but if this is really a Hurts emergence, I want to see constant pressure on him to keep passing in a shootout.  Let's see him keep it up.

I mean it's certainly a good way to see what he's got and whether he can win in a shoot out. With this defense we are going to need him to... A lot.

hes the type of guy who should be moving all over the DL, and LB corps looking for a spot to rush from. 

We line him up at DE, or put him in coverage. Totally wrong.

No comparison of their arms.  Allen could likely out throw Hurts with his left arm.

I really hope reddick turns it on. But this is what he looked like early in his career with the cardinals. He managed to become good the last two years with the cardinals and Carolina. 

And our defense is back
