Graham and Cox are both too old.  So getting a legitimate 3-4 DE in the Anderson scenario becomes a need.  Quite possibly a Free Agent.

Regarding Dean, the two ILBs ahead of him, White and Edwards are both playing quite well in the aggressive Gannon scheme, so I don't see a need to rush Dean.

I think williams fit the 3-4 DE mold. Those can be mid rd guys or vets. Dont need premium picks there, typically

Me too, I like sweat more in his role now than as a traditional 43 DE.

Good point about Sweat.  Having Anderson, Reddick, Sweat, Johnson and Johnson as the 5 deep corps at Edge would be pretty.

The play in this game that sticks in my mind is where Brandon Brooks pulled and absolutely smashed a free running Luke Kuechly and unfortunately it ended up giving him a concussion.  I've still never seen a play in his career where Kuechly was so surprised to see a mammoth appear out of nowhere and stonewall him.

I will give all the props to Hurts for his game last night, He did a very ggod job in many areas of concern. he still missed open players by not reading his progressions but overall he was very impressive. However, I want to see some consistency before I say hes changed. As I said before, about half way point of the season is a good span of games to get a idea what Hurts has improved on. One game does not change anything for me.

We're drafting EDGE early and often in the 2023 draft. We don't have a single power EDGE rusher on the team
