Well?  Since I don't remember a discussion referencing ERS, then it must be what I had assumed.  You and your little group is messaging each other with an inside joke.  So if you're going to reference it, then have the guts to explain.

No group.

ERS is an acronym for EMB’s Resident Scorpion

Poor choice. Likely the wrong choice. But if someone put a gun to his head to make that particular throw, he placed that one perfectly. He was somehow accurate on Monday night. Lets hope he keeps his newfound QB skill for life.

To early to talk about accuracy.  Geno Smith is #1 in the NFL at 81%.  Tua and Daniel Jones have a higher completion percentage than Hurts.

It's the old song and dance, guy hits two home runs opening day, and he is on pace for 324 home runs.  All of these guys number will regress to the mean.

Yep.  For all the talk about Carson Wentz and hero ball, I am shocked so many forget so quickly.

No it wasn't the best.  Only a novice fan would think that.

It was a lousy throwI can understand why you would say it wasn’t the best. Fundamentally I agree with you. However, if we’re wanting Hertz to become a quarterback who can throw receivers open in and be a ““ real quarterback. That is the kind of throw that a real quarterback should make consistently putting the ball in the right place in a place where only the receiver can get it even though there are three defenders around it. With that said Kind of quarterback that hurts has been up till now hasn’t been able to make those kind of throws. So if we expect hurts to be something more than he has been it was a great throw if we expect him to be just as deficient as he has been It was a lousy throw

From the production videos of work outs, talking in the 3rd person, countless situational quotes or having someone handle his twitter feed, everything Jalen Hurts does is pre-planned and thought out.

I hadn't noticed this, but it would be hilarious:

I would vote for the throw to Goedert that was dropped, although dropped is a tough judgment. Great throw though.

Yup, people don't recognize how good that was. Perfect ball placement, over the lb and under the safety, letting it go before the te was open, trusting him to get where he needed to be to make the catch. The cb made a great play to knock it loose, but it was clear that Goedert didn't catch it clean initially or else he wouldn't have been able to.

Aikman was wowed by it because he knows how tough it was.

The throw to watkins was a dime, but it didn't take any processing or reading of the defense. It was an off platform throw he has shown he can make.

The throw to Goedert took recognizing what the defense was, where the defenders would be and where Goedert would have a chance to make a play all within a second of the snap. That's what we didn't see last year.

the bolded is exactly the point. He ALWAYS wants to scramble on 3rd downs. He wants to be the guy converting 1st downs. Thats where the glory is. The spotlight is not as bright on 1st and 2nd. When you have to pick up a 1st or the drive ends, on 3rd down- that is where the glory is. Making that play. And he always calls his own number.

A lot of those other runs may have been called QB runs. There were some designed runs. Others may have been read option where he kept it (some were the right read. some may not have been.) But as I said aside from called runs- when you look at his propensity to call his own number on 3rd downs, and goal line, and watch his superman celebration- its become clear he is all about himself. Despite what he says to the press that makes people believe he is a good teammate. His actions are different than his words.

Your earlier post includes the Minnesota game, and it also includes ALWAYS.

You're trying to have it both ways and it's unbecoming.

I'm not RTK, blind to Hurts' faults. At the same time, however, I think that if Hurts plays as he has so far this season, we can beat anybody, anywhere.

That pleases me.

Please, this is no conversation.  This is a support group of people who are trying to cope and talk each other into keep their Hurts hate alive and hope that he starts playing terribly.  For years now the same group of postera have desperately tried to find a negative aspect about Hurts game and then pin everything in that negative slant and act as if it's the most important irreversible point that proves how he's awful and shouldn't be QB.

Like clockwork the detached from reality hate has to find something new the moment Hurts overcomes what the previous nonsense was. Now for the Hurts hate crowd it's this idea that the passing offense isn't actually improved because the Eagles are scoring rushing touchdowns in the redzone instead of passing touchdowns.

If adults are having a discussion, and you choose not to participate, it's still a discussion, champ.

I don't know - Resident Scorpion sounds pretty badass to me

Sometimes when people say always, they dont literally mean always. Everyone is familiar with that colloquialism. Now you are joining CTE in the losing battle tactic of clinging to semantics. That is also unbecoming.

Can we beat Tua, he is the 3rd best QB in the NFL if we are using recency bias.

Do you think he's more or less selfish than someone who uses other taxpayers' hard earned dollars to pay off his own loans?

From me it was humor.  Don’t get your panties in a wad.  You and I have been rather cordial of late.  And the convos have been good as a result.

The holding penalty throw to Watkins was the best.

We'll both have to get to the Super Bowl.
