I can’t believe I’m saying this, but another reason to hav played the starters more in the Preseason.

Agree. Preseason should be evaluation time. Missed opportunities.

I hope Ross Tucker does a follow up to this assessment he made after week one and before week two.

Right there in the bonafides...Ex-Eagle...

Sorry, busted on that one....

Not that I care much, just another talking Head...

It could be interpreted as Ex- Eagle Analyst AND NFL Analyst but not presented that way.

The on the scorpion tshirt is a light orange, the other one is dark orange and hat is red. I have been arguing about colours on a project at work for months (Developers hate me for it) so have a little knowledge.

Ask the tee shop what the Pantone/RGB/CMYK colour is that they used.  If it's red, it's fairly easy to cross reference that - did you ask for a specific colour?  I can always look it up on Adobe Illustrator - I'm no Adobe wiz but needs must

Yes.  I asked for red on both logos.  Here is the proof I approved.  I don't know how that hunter orange is anything close to what I ordered.

Yes. The defense makes plays too.

On the tv replay it was easy to see that Goedert didn't catch it cleanly which is why the corner was able to dislodge it.

It's also easy to see that Hurts was reading the corner and the safety. Smith was probably the first read if the corner goes deep, goedert the second read if the safety stayed deep and then sanders on the checkdown.

So a good decision by the qb, an accurate, on time throw and a good play design. The corner did well, but i think if Goedert catches it cleanly, it doesn't get knocked out.

For all of the people in here that said it was a bad idea

I streamed it on the PS5 and it was great. My only complaint was I wish there were separate audio only broadcasts. I didn't care for the dude perfect or stats one because they weren't full screen

It was the skinny football commercial with Russel Wilson that did it.  Marketing!!

Great point.

And that is meaningful because?

It is meaningful because the article says he is an ex-Eagle.

Ross was just doing the preseason games this year, and as far as I know, he's slated to do it again... so he'd be 'Eagles analyst', not ex-Eagles analyst.

No.  It is real because the article says that. That doesn’t make it meaningful.  It is trivial, not meaningful.

Thursday Night Football is a bad idea... until they give a bye to both teams the week before the game.

Anyone making any bets tonight? The under seems like a trap. Also @HazletonEagle I joined the DK contest. Prepare to lose.

analyst?  or broadcaster?

my vague recollection is that in the past he did some player analysis for the team.  He came to the forefront during the Peters trade time period.  I could be wrong though.

It is factually inaccurate.   That's meaningful.

I think people are seeing a better player than he actually is.

2018 - 2019 - 5 sacks in 32 games.

2020 - 12 1/2 sacks, but 9 games without a sack, and 5 in one game.

2021 - 11 sacks, 7 games without a sack.

I think sacks can be hit or miss but if he is consistently getting off blocks and being disruptive that's good.  I don't think anyone thinks he's TJ Watt. He is an upgrade by a significant margin on Avery and the current back ups.  I thought he had a decent game Monday night when he got to rush the passer.

This is true.  I use my wife's membership to watch things on Prime... but not TNF.

It was also a must see game so… I doubt tonight’s game comes close to those numbers

He has 4 tackles, 1 for loss and 1 pass defensed.  No QB hits, and no pressures.

I dunno, bacarty will be watching it on both of his TV's

Ross Tucker never played for the Eagles. I'm not sure why ex-Eagle would be used with him.  He does do color commentary for the pre-season games.

I am not sure if a color commentary guy is really an analyst. I like Ross Tucker and I think he does a good job as a podcaster.

His pass rush win rate was pretty good in 2021.

Reddick down bad.

That part, to me, is semantics.  The 'ex' part is definition.
