I'd say it depends on who they're facing in the slot. I for one love versatility and interchangeable players. This is one of the better on paper defenses we've had in my lifetime. Now let's see if they're just paper tigers or not.

We will play a lot of zone, and Gannon said that the slot and safety do a lot of the same things in those instances. So the only time it really matters is in man coverage, which we don't use a lot.

The thing with QB is we saw at the end of the year carson beat the giants and end it with beating the cowboys to build off his rookie year. I’m not sure anyone of us thought Carson would make the jump from his rookie year to 2nd in mvp voting. I thought he’d be good but i didn’t expect that jump.

rb: 2022 (before the ajayi trade) think we have more depth talent 

Wr: 2022 (brown, smith and Watkins imo is better than agholor, jeffery and smith) 

TE: 2017

OL: I’d probably say push cause lane, brooks, kelce were in the height of their primes. Wiz and seumalo likely push. Mailata and Dickerson is likely better than what we had on the left side at that point in time even with peters still being good then before his injury.

I agree with almost everything, except RB.

I think RB is our biggest positional weak spot on the team. Admittedly, I really dislike almost all of our RBs.
