I think RB is our biggest positional weak spot on the team. Admittedly, I really dislike almost all of our RBs. 

Got to remember our RB position at the beginning of the year was blount, clement and smallwood (sproles got hurt). I think sanders, gainwell and Scott is actually more talented when you consider ajayi wasn’t there to start the year and sproles got hurt early. Actually think sanders is the most talented player of all those guys. Problem is he’s a walking injury.

Understood. Blount was coming of like a 28 TD season though I think (maybe exaggerating slightly). I wasn't a Smallwood fan, but I think he was better than Scott. Clement was better than Gainwell. Gainwell could surpass Clements talent this year, but I need to see it first. 

Again, I really dislike our RB room, so maybe I'm a little tilted in my evaluation of them. But I'd take that 2017 room 10/10 times.

They're not changing the shape of the ball. That would require approval from the competition committee, and while I haven't been as tuned in this offseason, I feel like a change to what is literally the most important piece of equipment of the sport would've made bigger headlines.
