What's up man, how was your road trip ??

Good to see ya Mike. Went smooth, Great trip. I finish working in alaska for the summer in a couple weeks. Afterwards going to drive all the way down to Orlando. Going to be a pretty epic trip, about 2ish weeks of driving and going to see all of Canada again & entire west coast + Nashville/Kansas city and possibly New Orleans

But not qb play?

We will see.  As stated before I think Hurts is going to have a really good season and with this team's success be in the MVP conversation like Wentz was. But if you look at the overall talent of the roster then yeah I would say the Eagles are better in 2022.

QB - Give the edge to 2017 now since we know the great Season Wentz was able to have.  We don't know yet with Hurts although I do have my optimistim.

RB - I'd give edge to 2017.

TE - probably edge to 2017 since we had Celek as well and don't really have that depth this year.  However I think Goedert this year will be better than Ertz.

WR - No question this goes to the 2022 team.

OL - Also going with 2022. Better depth.

DE - I'll give the edge to 2017

DT - 2022

LB - 2022, again depth whereas 2017 was pretty much Hicks and Braham.

CB - 2022

S - 2017

K - the same

So it is actually kinda split 5 per each team but if I go with Goedert over Ertz then that swings it to the 2022 team.

It’s gotta be a joke - it may be a marketing thing but there’s no way they are changing the actual shape of the ball for one game a week

Russ practicing with it.

Yep.  So why even make the video?  I don't see any marketing upside or relevant purpose behind it.

Wouldn't shock me to see Amazon Prime on the football though.

Is this a serious question? They're trying to market a product. The best way to do that is to get the word out for what the product is. I'm sure you can piece it together from there.

Obviously know this is a joke above, but anyone who actually takes the time to watch his interview with Rogan will realize that he was on the right side based on how the NFL was handling the COVID protocols and what we now know.

Rogan is not some far right, MAGA nutjob. Anyone who watches his show and the guests he has on knows that he is far from it.

No props for Foles? Hurts can't be in the conversation if he's unable to distribute the ball in the passing game

No I have Prime, well the missus does. But it's impossible to flip back and forth to other games/channels.

I usually sit in the living room for Thur/Sun/Mon night games. more comfortable and usually only me

For Sunday football I sit in the bar, on the bar stools where I have 2 tV's with friends.

I cant fall asleep on the bar stool

You can set up multiple profiles you know? Have yours and hers and you can watch whatever you want on yours

How doesn’t that throw off the QBs and receivers plus more fumbles.  I was expecting to see embedded positioning tools instead of a shape shift.

WTF?  Jesus, the NFL is a bunch of who-ors.  Allowing a sponsor partner to change the actual ball.

Pretty ironic coming from a league who had such an issue with the amount of air in a football in the 2nd half of a blowout playoff game.

Disgusting.

This is a joke right, I mean are they really going to use a ball that is slimmer and longer for Thursday night games or is it just a promotional thing

I can't imagine them actually using a different shaped ball for just Thursday night

I mean maybe bust it out in a meaningless exhibition like the pro bowl but not an actual game

I'm surprised the XFL never experimented with a microchip in the ball. Seemed like a good testing ground for new tech.

again, it has nothing to do with that

I have 2 setups.

1) bar, cant sleep, or relax in the bar. It has 2 TV's. for numerous games, can stream games on both TV's

2) My couch and my bed. more comfortable than the bar. Can Stream games.

I prefer*** to watch the late games on my couch or bed and still flip to other games.

I have fallen asleep at my bar a few times. Well more like on the bar itself

Understood. Blount was coming of like a 28 TD season though I think (maybe exaggerating slightly). I wasn't a Smallwood fan, but I think he was better than Scott. Clement was better than Gainwell. Gainwell could surpass Clements talent this year, but I need to see it first.

Again, I really dislike our RB room, so maybe I'm a little tilted in my evaluation of them. But I'd take that 2017 room 10/10 times.

I’d take the end result of what the 2017 was. I think just purely talent? I’d take 2022 (assuming sproles misses majority of the year and we didn’t trade for ajayi until year’s end aren’t involved. If we include ajayi and sproles it’s clearly 2017). But of all the backs on 2017 and 2022 (ajayi not included as he was midseason acquisition), sanders has the highest upside if he stays healthy. Blount had a great year the season but i don’t think he had the ceiling sanders is capable of if he just stays healthy.

I think gainwell is a better talent than smallwood and clement. Clement had a great SB but gainwell’s season last year was similar to clement. Clement regular season had 444 yards and 6 tds on 84 touches. Gainwell had 544 and 6tds on 101 touches. I think he is more of a Swiss Army knife type back who’ll get better and had a higher ceiling than clement. Imo smallwood was a jag that had a limited ceiling. I think Scott is also better than smallwood. But both really should be 3rd-4th string backs.

Dang Gardener Johnson is only 24. Nice!!!

None of it makes sense.  Even if it is a joke and a "marketing ploy".  Why would the NFL have to resort to gimmicks to market itself?  Pretty weak and tone deaf on Amazons part.

You're right, the NFL doesn't have to. But a streaming service that very few people associate with live sports streaming, is trying to come up with ways to spread the word that it owns the TNF streaming rights this year. Not really sure how this in any qualifies as being "tone deaf" though, seems like a pretty weird way to describe this.

It is really good advertising.  By going with the absurd they clearly got you to pay attention to their ad.

Im kind of less interested in their product now. Hows that good?
