And let’s say every Fing Twitter follower in the world got the ad because of Amazon’s reach.  If you’re not a fan of a something, do you seriously spend the time clicking on an tweet/ad about that very thing?   I know I don’t.

Your argument has basically shifted to "does advertising even work to reach new consumers?" Think about it that for a bit and play it out to its logical conclusion.

Hurts is a starter, not a journeyman backup former Super Bowl MVP.

Fixed.

Which parts?

That he would be starting in the league of he was a good QB?

That he is a highly inconsistent player?

That he got hot at the right time for two games while playing on a great team?

That our current backup situation with Minshew is just as good as 2017?

Yeah... they got me for a bit.  But, I stand by my principled stance against TNF.  TNF is something I tune in to once a year... when the Eagles play, and consciously avoid every other week.   I do not support that game being played on such short rest.   The solution is and has always been simple to just add an extra week to the season in the form of a bye, and let that bye fall before the Thursday Night game for each team, since every team has to play once on Thursday night.

Doubt it.  I think he'll be resigned here after week 1 when his salary is no longer guaranteed for the year.   He was a UFA just this past offseason and had no one bite.  He came back here for about $1M... basically league minimum for a vet of his experience.   He's a guy they will keep the phone number of in case of injury.

I hear you, but really don't see him as a fit for this team any more ... unless one of the starting Safeties goes down with an injury.  I don't see him as someone who plays STs, nor do I think he would be good at it.  I think Blankenship and Scott and Chachere are all much better fits at Safety than Harris is.

I think it's a creative. If it got us talking this much today, imagine what it did for casual fans. Do you think the JG Wentwork or Karz for Kidz people thought their jingles were good? No. They were earworms that get talked about in a negative light...but still talked about. I'm a marketing nerd, and while I don't have access to their metrics, I guarantee a video up for 4 hours that gets over 186k views is a success.

C'mon...that ridiculous TV commercial with the kids "playing" instruments in a band where the one kids fingers aren't even strumming the strings?

Yes he can.  Time will tell if he does.

Makes sense. He took his mouthpiece so he tried to take his head. Lucky he didn’t break his knuckles on that facemask.

I don't think it was a logical move, but clearly he likes to play mind games with his opponent and get inside their heads.   And seems to be rather effective at it.

It depends on the time of year. During the season, it's more, of course. During the offseason, less at times.

The lowest point in our existence (so far), is July of this year, at around 16,300 new posts for the month.

I can't see the exact numbers of people on the board at any given time period (when we upgrade, I think I will be able to see the numbers),  but here's the last month:

Looking at the page source code, I can see the numbers but it would take a long time to compile them. So I looked at just the 29th of August and between Midnight and 6 AM, 2,203 users and guests were logged at 15 minute intervals. That's not to say that 2,203 unique individuals were on the board during those hours. I'm sure that a lot of those numbers are counting the same people multiple times.

But activity wise, for those 6 hours of the early morning from yesterday, that's what was counted.

I know that certain days, weeks, and months will produce different results. I was really using gorilla math (2*365/1,000,000) to get a basis of average on how many posts there were on any given day. The stats are definitely interesting, especially considering that all the users were gained organically. It really is a testament to this community of fans.

What I was saying was not to disparage the board in any way, as I and I imagine most others do enjoy it. Just stating that while it seems like a lot, there really is not a lot of content created here in comparison to other places (Reddit, facebook groups, etc.), and that was the case when it was part of the Philadelphia Eagles, which led to its demise from there and it's eventual resurrection by you.

Man, you're a special type of troll.

My opinion means nothing, but you want to hold church based on your opinion

I'm giving my opinion on why I feel the Eagles 2022 roster is more talented than the 2017 roster.

You cited your belief that Hurts will have more games as a backup for his career as one of the reasons teams won't sign him as a starter.  As if teams are reaching out to you yo pick your brain before making decisions.

I've been trying to keep up with all the cuts made so far. Based on my records, assuming that all the tweets were correct, the Eagles are currently at 65 players and will need to cut twelve more. I think about six or seven of them are obvious -- Jacoby Stevens, Kennedy Brooks, Kobe Smith, Christian Elliss, Josh Sills, Matt Leo.

I'd love to attack his ideas instead but he won't respond with anything of substance to my points with anything other than one or two word replies.

I didn't see him as a fit for this team last year, and his play proved I was right.  Yet... they still brought him back for TC this year.  He's familiar to Gannon, and that might be enough to overlook the rest.

I'd prefer they not bring him back at all, then again, I didn't want him resigned this offseason either.

Because you're wrong. When you get off Hurts jock then maybe we can have that conversation. Until then you're wrong and you are racist on top of it

I raised a number of good points with you this morning, which you glossed over and didn't respond to at all except with your emotional nonsense.

Really?  He can be kept on the roster making it 54, not 53?

saints fans are all up in arms over trading cj gardner-johnson to us for a 5th and 6th rounder , most thought they were getting a 2nd atleast. they are talking like it's getting jenkins from them
