Not sure it would.  He has the right to his space and all he did was stand there and cross his arms.  He doesn't have to yield to Brady.  Is that taunting?    It's annoying, no doubt, but I don't think that elevates to a taunting penalty.   He didn't even say anything to Brady.   Just looked at him.

Looks like he kinda moved into Brady's way. Either way, not worth the risk if the refs want to keep being flag happy about it, IMO

The roster minus QB is a Super Bowl contending roster. We need to make divisional round at minimum to justify keeping Hurts. 

I think it's a win the Super Bowl or the Eagles are going to consider drafting a QB in Round 1.  It's going to be a nuanced question if he looks much improved over the season and they lose in a fluky manner but my guess is that the only guaranteed way he comes back is a Super Bowl win.

Pure spot zone rarely gets played because it is susceptible to soft spots.  That’s what I refer to as Quarters and why I distinguish it from Cover 4 because Cover 4 isn’t strictly spot zone coverage and can include some man. Most "zone” coverages can and that was my point.  There are so many variations of these coverages and there are reads too.

Science/Facts show you that runners in general, especially running QB's, dont win in this league,  dont age well, and once injured(like he had), are more likely to get injured again 

But, if you want to compare this roster to the 2017 roster, the 2017 roster blows this roster away. You know why, rosters work of a weighted product in which the QB holds a lot of weight. I take the 2017 Roster with a MVP finalist at QB, over this roster with Hurts at QB, 7 days out of 7. 

 

I didn't frame my opinion as a reason why Hurts will have more starts than backups.  You finished your post by stating that because you believe he will be a backup that is one of the reasons NFL teams will not use him as a starter.
