  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Jahmyr Gibbs has some juice, man.

Why the hell does Missouri keep playing the Spanish trumpets?

Brewers blow it in the Ninth Inning.  Still 1 game behind the Phiks.

Going to be hard passing on a talent like Brock Bowers in the draft.

Long-term, CB is the most concerning position. Right now they have 2 30 year old studs. Wouldn't be averse to going the 2003 route all over again provided they're not passing on a star edge rusher.

(All of this is assuming they roll with Hurts long-term obviously)

No, but I play one on TV.  And by that, I mean I hang out at bars in Bev Hills in golf clothes and pull out a beeper (old school) any time a (any breathing) woman walks by and exclaim, "dammit I have to call the hospital and tell them I cannot do brain surgery when I am drunk!"

(This February will be the 5th Anniversary of the Super Bowl LII)

The Super Bowl Memory Lane Tour continues after facing Carson last week....this week The Man, The Myth and The Legend himself Dougie P returns home.  Look obviously it wasn't a pretty separation.   In all fairness, no Doug should not have been fired for one bad season during the Covid Outbreak.   It was an overreaction and a little extreme.  The Super Bowl win brought him another 5 years in my opinion.   So Jeff and Howie made the decision to let our Super Bowl winning coach go.   It was sad and I'm still again not fully over it.   With all that said, Nick has come in and surprised me the last two years.   It' not his fault what happen with the Doug drama.   He's just a young couch who worked his way up.    Even if the Eagles do win another Super Bowl in the future.  Nothing will change that moment on 2/4/18 and the celebration on 2/8/18.

I'm hoping for a Standing Ovation for Doug just like Andy and Donovan got when they came back. The Man does have a statue outside of the Stadium for crying out loud.   He has this Jags team surging.  They are #1 in the AFC South and #2 overall in the AFC Conference.   They've held teams to only 10 points in the last two weeks.   So this will be a challenge for us. Doug has already improved Trevor's performance from last year.   And they have a pretty good D.   With that said, I do feel the Birds are better offensively and defensively then the are.   Offensive should still be able to put up points while I expect Defense to get Trevor to make mistakes.    I see the Jags actually winning the AFC South this year so Doug will have turned the team around in just one year.   He's a very good coach.   But I also see the Eagles are just on this roll as will continue as the last Undefeated Team.  Doug gave us the ultimate gift in the Super Bowl.    But he should also get credit for developing Jalen that very first year.   Jalen would not bet he QB he is today without that experience got his rookie year.   Doug even made a tough decision to bench Carson at the time and start Jalen which changed everything.   So thanks Doug, will always have love forever.   But today, the Jags have to go down.   Birds all day.  Also Eagles score a 2nd Half TD.

Birds - 34

Jags - 13

Jalen - Rush TD

Miles - Rush TD

Devonta - TD

AJ - TD

Jake - FGx 2

Defense:  INT, Multiple Sacks, Fumble recovery.

That isn’t why Doug was fired. He was fired because of different visions on how to build the team going forward.

Well he was fired after Covid Year after 3 Playoff runs, 4 Playoff Wins and a Super Bowl Victory.  Sorry, that does not warrant termination even with the 4-11-1 Season and "Different visions".   Just my opinion.  They all should have taken more time after the hectic covid season and came back to the table to hash it out.  Water under the bridge now but looking back, they all could have handled that better.

Good morning fine gentleman. The ability to be a qweef would be an astounding skill.

While I agree they need to draft CB, early.  I’ve only been saying it for 4 years.  They have proven that they can piece it together with veterans.  DE cupboard js just as bare.  Who knows what Reddick is, LB or DE.  After him we have Sweat, who disappears for games at a time.  Barnett shouldn’t have been on the team this year and a really old BG.  Filling the gaps at DE through FA is more difficult than CB.

Saints won't win another game and we get Will Anderson, problem solved! (I'm still asleep and dreaming while I type this)

Also...is the RedZone good enough to watch a game....decision time.  Live in Central Jersey, normally...between nationally televised games, prime time games and having Philadelphia FOX, I can stay home.  Well today, because it's a CBS game, no luck.  So, do I watch the RedZone or do I try and motivate and go to the local sports bar?  Between the dogs, kids, the Mrs.....thinking the RedZone might have to do.

Call the bar and ask them to reserve a single seat at the bar and have a pint waiting for you.

Ferris, you work all games at the AFA?  Do you get to see any of the games or is it more intense work?

Last year was a bit more fun, I either worked up in the press box or on the field (making sure the cadets don't do stupid stuff on tv).  This year I've been managing all the traffic and outside the stadium stuff.  Traffic is an absolute beast yesterday between all the important people (who’s wives all wondered off at various points) and 40k that came.  The campus is amazing but…it’s not meant to handle that many people coming in 🤣

This was from the Nevada game.  Yesterday morning before all the anarchy I got to hang out with the Petty GM crews because they brought both NASCAR cars in for the game.  They led the team to the stadium, was pretty cool.

No excuses Vikings.

Pack up the kids and the wife.  Go to a spot like a Miller's Ale House.  Family friendly, good food, and will have the game (if not, just ask the bartender to hook you up with one TV) and have a nice time with the family.

I upgraded to paramount plus premium because it gives you your local cbs station and it gave me cbs Philadelphia. I get fox Philadelphia as well so it should work for you I think

For those of us who don't live in Philly, how bad is the rain?

In the ‘burbs here it is raining but not terrible. Wind is bigger factor at least right now.

Don't you have a window?

Blowin a steady 30mph with light rain. This is 60 miles from the Linc, on the South Jersey coast.

Expected the same all day.

steady.  Wind is going to be a bigger concern, imo.  Should be about 15-20mph.

I made a bunch of trips to AFA during Brother's posting. Who wouldn't? Front Range is just beautiful.

Falcon Stadium built into the ground, top levels at grade is striking. Never seen that anywhere else.

The Cathedral, Pike's Peak, Estes Park, Garden of the Gods, U of C Co-eds...well, yeah.

Envy your work environment.
