And not good enough.  Running ability isn’t a bonus for Lamar…it’s the main attraction.  Passing is the bonus.

Yeah agree to disagree. Give him Brady's mobility I still think he's an NFL caliber starter.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

This is in no way a slight at Jalen, but give Lamar our O-line, Brown/DeVonta/Goedert and watch what happens.

Agreed but it’s not happening

I don't think so. Maybe a fringe starter.

I can’t do Tony Romo most overrated dork to ever play the game

I like romo as a commentator, liked him as a player, if he weren't a cowboy.

Come on Pats

That's too many for him.  Would be nice to get Sermon a few more, if he can handle it.  He looked good behind our line today.

Hurts had 16 carries today... still way too many, even with today's conditions.

2 high snaps seemed to short circuit some plays, where Hurts went right into scramble mode. 14 is too many, although he did what seem to be needed early but too much late.

Come on Zappe!

If he played for us I'd buy that jersey btw

NFC East strongest division in the NFL so far.

Well he’s got arm talent, that’s fair enough.  But they still run an unreliable, chaotic offense because he either runs or heaves it to first or second read.

we get 6ers action tomorrow. And possibly against Ben Simmons.

I find it funny that some fans/posters get so sensitive and defensive when others point out deficiencies in the team.   Yeah, 4-0 is great.  No team is perfect.  I think it’s encouraging that they are 4-0 and not looking perfect.  Great for the coaches to have plenty to work on.  Force the players to continue to work.  Don’t be so sensitive.  It’s ok to point out the negative.  This is a good team and good teams find ways to win.

I like to enjoy a victory for a little while. Some people aren’t happy unless they’re miserable.

I still think the Giants are the worst 3-1 team ever.

Might have been the best game I’ve seen Kelce play.

The Giants are not good…low talent…but they seem to be well coached and we struggle against them.  So while we should sweep them, it won’t be a cake walk.

Dallas is pretty good.  I thought the Dak injury, OL issues, and their owner drama would do them in, but that didn’t quite happen.  They are the primary competition this year.

I think we should be able to run away with the division just by splitting with Dallas, but we at least need the split.

If Dallas' OL issues are real, they will be worse once Dak returns. Rush is athletic and extends plays like Romo used to. Dak will be more sackable, and forced in to mistakes. They have 1 WR. Our secondary can handle that. Not too scared of them.

Dam. Yoga boy beat Zappe.

Haha... Too fargn funny.

I'd like to express how I feel to everyone instead of how you're supposed to feel about being 4-0. Dictating your take seems to be a trend right now..

Enjoy it? Dissect it? Critique it? No kidding. It's what we do here.

In the meantime, after everyone's digested how they're supposed to feel, as directed by others, consider this.

Just another take...

Digging deep. substitutions on our venerable O line, Secondary replacements as well, Crappiest weather, Defense with a Major step up, D Line made life for TL miserable, running out the clock with the ground game and some nice TE work, second half comeback ( called suspect, can't happen, by many) and then holding that lead, QB breaking his A$$ to get in the Endzone, Gannon calling enough correct Packages to get TL off his spot and running for his life...substitute players performing ( depth trusted )..D guys...Riddick...McPhearson...Edwards...Bradberry, the entire D Line actually,  et al, all stepped up.

So, waiting for the inevitable " We suck because"...just sayin, but we won this one on good terms in bad conditions..

Anyone Happy about this W ? :Eagle_smiley:

I’m not terribly scared of them, but I think @Dallas is the 2nd hardest game left on the schedule.

For sure. They have a very good defense and until this team show my otherwise Dallas are our kryptonite.

I can’t wait to play the packers we are gonna get em

I can't wait for the Cowboys. They are paper tigers. Wife follows them so I have to watch allot. I don't care what their record is. They are not good.

I thought Hurts had a good game today. B+ performance. Given the crap conditions, having a backup G play LT, bonehead decisions by Siri, and ultimately getting the Dub, I think that’s a fair grade. Lawrence turning the ball over 5 times certainly helped but it was a good win. Outside of the first quarter pick, he threw pretty well.

Allen and Lamar, who played in similar conditions, didn’t exactly light it up in their games either.

What’s more impressive?  Howie getting a 1st and 3rd for Wentz or the Colts getting a pair of 3rds one year later?

TL:DR:

Covey is still a worse version of Reno Mahe!   Also, Jeff Lurie sucks.  Should have a retractable roof powered by fan farts to maintain carbon neutrality at the Linc to protect fans from the elements.

Yep.  Tough game for any team to win.  Especially a team that fell behind 14-0.  Gutsy win.  Which means it’s a great win.  And still plenty to clean up, on both sides of the ball.  Which helps maintain the focus.

Yes, but we aren’t allowed to speak of the things to clean up.
