Depends on what else you have at RB

So trading for him and I got

Najee Harris, Swift, Stevenson, Brian Robinson, Damon Pierce.

Have good depth and he seems interested in Swift. I dont trust Swift to stay healthy, and he already has a shoulder and ankle injury.

Does Miles continue to run this well moving forward or was this a once in every 6 games for him? Basically, should I trade for him in fantasy.

Hes very good, and in a contract year. Shoulda seen it coming. I think its safe to count on him keeping it up.

Many good players have chips. Lots of mediocre ones too. Not a factor in the evaluation

True.  Why so many UDFAs have long careers and many third day picks and some first and second day picks don’t make it to the next contract. Rivers was pissed by the Eli trade and played with a chip.  Brady was pissed about being a third day pick. I don’t have an issue with Hurts being motivated by being a second round pick after starting at two top five college teams. Would you rather have Jalen Reagor’s "I was a first round pick and have arrived so I don’t have to work” attitude?  Or Carson Wentz’s "everybody thought I was the 2017 MVP so I have nothing left to learn or deficiency to correct” attitude?

Heck, Boobie has attitude (Barkley kept him on the bench).  Slay (Detroit gave up on him) and Bradberry (Titans quit him, Giants quit him) have attitude. Think Jason Kelce doesn’t have attitude?  Seumalo?  Brandon Graham? Hargrave?  T. J. Edwards?  I love players that use those chips as motivators.  The whole underdog thing in 2017 won a Super Bowl.  So the fact that Hurts sees in himself QBs that excelled because they had chips and is motivated to show that he was wrongly judged, that’s a good thing, no?

Would not make that trade in your position

Long route to a no

those are high picks and more accomplished players than him. Of course you need confidence at the top level

bradys chip became silly but whatever motivates a player to keep grinding i guess. Reagor had a chip on his shoulder too

Shiel works for The Ringer now. He writes for them and does a Eagles pod with Ben Solak.

Solak moved fast and already a fantasy regular for Bill Simmons pod

Their Philly Special podcasts are a really efficient listen.  Solid content without much fluff.

I didn’t think he was all that great last year, including the playoffs. Things just seemed to fall in place for them.

I finally hope the wheels fall off for that team and their fake-ass fan base, especially since they don't have a first round pick until the next time Halley's comet comes around.

Right so go get aaron rodgers or something

if you are going to drop  coin it has to be for a proven commodity

"Or something”

Part of the point of paying Hurts is better options arent readily available

Reagor never acted like a player with a chip.

Actually, Jalen was indirectly talking about watching film.  No surprise Nick showed him Colts film of Rivers and Luck.  If you wanted to teach a player with an average arm about ball placement, anticipation and throwing receivers open, who better to review film of than TB12.

That’s either very racist, or a veiled way of saying "Harrison Smith hit my wife harder than he hit me”

It's a reference to this:

Ertz is Smith's daddy

Jalen Hurts is a 5 now? Just say you hate the guy, no need to beat around the bush like this

You have plenty at RB. Not sure you need Miles.

At a certain point you maximize your abilities, no matter how hard you work. Thats kinda my point.

all that squatting wont make his arm better or speed up his processing

He might maximize his abilities as a runner but as a passer he continues to improve.  He doesn't have physical limitations as a passer. He has everything you want in in the leadership position of a QB with his work ethic, his desire to be great, his desire to work to be great and just his entire demeanor of quiet cool calmness that resonates throughout this roster.

The Rams window is slammed shut.

Niners' D is nastier than AB's

9ers defense is VICIOUS. DeMeco is getting a HC job this offseason and he deserves it.

Funny how people still argue we should’ve signed Allen Robinson rather than trading for AJB
