That sucks as that most likely means more playing time for Josiah Scott who was just brutally awful against the jags.

Maybe an extra week of practice will do him some good.

I'm guessing you mean IR, PUP isn't an option. If they did put him on IR he would have to miss 4 games, which would mean he would have to miss the game after the bye week as well. By not doing that, there is a chance he plays against Dallas, but even if he doesn't then gets 2 more weeks to rest up after that and hopefully play against the Steelers coming out of the bye.

Yeah, you’re definitely going to have to hit at the QB position, which is why I think you’d carry 4 QBs instead of 2 or 3 and you’d be drafting one basically every year. But the good news is that getting competent QB play is going to be easier. You can draft a guy like Hurts who needs development and still have a workable offense year 2 because of his legs. You can sign a mid tier free agent vet like Vick out of prison or Cam Newton and basically just ride their legs.

You get three years out of them regardless of where you take them

Regardless of the outcome today, the Cardinals might not be able to use Helsley tomorrow night.
