No, my guess is that he went to the ER first before contacting an attorney.  I mean it's not like attorneys are working 24/7 and I think Missouri isn't like Philly in terms of PI claims.  Having talked to a fair few people in his circumstance he either contacted an attorney because he is mad about it or actually injured.  I can tell you that no one likes some BS claim because you have client who's expectations are disproportionate with their injury and potential recovery and a claim that just isn't going to look good in front of a jury.

Apparently.  My guess is the guy is there for the game, and not local.  So... what's so funny about taking an Uber to the hospital?  Much cheaper than the ambulance cost.  Probably faster too.   Nothing funny about it to me.   Of course, I've actually DONE IT.  So, I don't see the humor at all.  I was with a friend, who broke her ankle.   And we took an Uber to the Emergency Clinic, because neither of us were from Chicago.  And when she broke her ankle... she also popped right back up again and even walked back to the hotel on the ankle.  The next day, when the swelling wouldn't go down, we went to the Emergency Clinic.    If it were up to me, we'd have gone to the ER immediately, but she didn't want to and thought it was just a sprain.  (I heard the popping noise when it snapped.)

You mean, how many life experiences have I had?   A lot.  I've been to the ER more often than I can count.  Not always for me, but also as the driver for others.  In the case of the woman in Chicago, as her friend and 'leaning post', so that she could hop without having to put weight on it.
