The police report isn't about him.  It's a criminal case.  And if the police didn't think there was a case, they wouldn't have brought any charges, misdemeanor or otherwise.   And in certain states, the police/prosecutor do not need the victim's consent to press the charges, in fact, many places in MO have 'no-drop' policies, where they won't drop the charges, even if the victim requests it.

There's also been no report of him filing a civil suit yet.  So, there's no evidence that he's actually 'milking' anything yet.

Unfortunately, I think playing with 3 of 5 starters is going to be pretty standard for this OL.

It is great aint it. I even threw a red challenge flag as soon as I saw the replay. Should of had the sky cam for it, but I had to make the call with what I had.

Et tu, Franklin?

Do I think we're the better team? Yes. Do I think we're gonna win the division? Again, yes. Do I think we'll win the rematch on Christmas Eve? Again, kinda, yes. But there's just something that doesn't feel right to me about this week. I think it's visions of so many past Eagles-Cowboys home games, especially ones under the lights, that went the wrong way. 1981. 1991. 1996. 2011 [edit: not that year/thinking of a different one]. 2014. It just feels like we tend to lose big games at home against them when both teams are (reasonably) good.

Obviously I hope I'm wrong.

Phone the Kansas City Police department, or the DA's office.  Maybe you can convince them to drop the charge.    Or better yet, call Adams' agent.  I'm sure they will want you as an expert witness to testify in the case.

We are a pathetic victim culture. Maybe in both cases, Wagner and Adams, the "victim" should take responsibility for their part in creating the situation and call it a day. Thank you to all the lawyers who helped created this litigious mentality so that they could make a greasy buck. It is a sad overhead rate on top of all life in the US that we all pay to "insure" our lives so that a profession can predate on situations that should fall into the "$hit happens" category.

Noooo even if you think it don’t say it out loud! F Dallas. All predictions for the home game should be Eagles winning lol.

I think that's a loss. Away, short week, third away game in a row. All things that usually point to a loss. I hope they take care of business Sunday because they have a few things stacked against them in the rematch.

Calm down flashback. Im not disputing the assault charge, but I dont believe for a second that he was actually hurt in any way. Just my opinion after watching what happened...from my computer...a thousand miles away. If you got a different opinion thats fine. Im sure you can give us all a story about something that happened 20 years ago that backs up your opinion. Let me get the marsh mellows on a stick first.

I almost predicted that... but couldn't bring myself to type it out.   It wouldn't shock me though if it happened.  It would, however, piss me off!   The Eagles SHOULD absolutely win this game, especially with Cooper Rush at QB.   If they lose, they have no excuse.  And it will be a giant flat tire for the championship chase bandwagon.

All concussions are the brain bouncing off the skull.  ;)

hahaha yeah, but people sometimes think they have to hit it on the ground to happen. Snapping the head back with force can do it as well.

I keep picking against them and they keep winning, so I'm going with it.

Rams, Bengals, Giants, Commanders. These are the teams the Cowboys have beat. None of those offense are good this year. Also, their defenses aren’t fantastic either. I’m not sold in the Giants at all - they have good coaching but it’s still too early and they have Danny Dimes. Their 1st round WR last year doesn’t even dress. Shepherd went down. Mess.

I’m not trippin.

@LeanMeanGM Cowboys- 13 Eagles- 24

Bonus: Cowboys score 3 or under in 2nd half.

One small thing I had to point out. We won the SNF game against Dallas in 2011, 34-7. I know this because 2011 was the last year I had season tickets, and that SNF game was the last one I ever attended.

That aside, I tend to agree with the rest of the post.

Yup. I remember waking up that day and debating if I was even going to watch the game live or do something else. Those one o'clock games were an insane adrenaline rush. I'm sure it was the same for the Eagles players too.

I thought Solak’s take was off base on this.  He clearly goes upfield for about 6 more yards after moving laterally to avoid a defender.

It is a sad overhead rate on top of all life in the US that we all pay to "insure" our lives so that a profession can predate on situations that should fall into the "$hit happens" category.

The Wagner and Adams situations are completely diametrically opposed scenarios.  In the Wagner case, Wagner is the victim (one of many that were on the field at the time).  The nut job came out of the stands, interrupted the game and potentially put the lives of everyone on the field in danger with whatever that orange smoke substance might have been.  But, he stood up for himself and everyone else out there and put an end to the situation.  But, Wagner, not the guy who was flattened by him, was the victim of that episode.  He used appropriate force to put an end to the situation, quickly and completely.  Wagner should be heralded by the league for putting an end to that embarrassing incident.  The protestor is in no way a victim.  What happened to him, he brought on to himself when he chose to trespass, disrupt and make a spectacle of himself.  He's no victim.  He's the provocateur.   To quote Men in Black... "Don't start nothing, won't be nothing."  He knew what he was doing when he went on to the field to do it.  He got what was coming to him.

Adams, on the other hand, decided to take his professional frustrations out on someone who had just as much right as him to be on the field at that time.  The cameraman's job was not yet finished, even though Adams' day had ended.  And Adams acted in an unprofessional and violent manner towards a person that every bit the same right to that space as Adams in that moment.  And contrary to his apology tweet where he claims to have felt remorse immediately after having done it, he walked past the guy without even a second glance back to see if the guy was alright or not.  Players in the heat of the game who run over a cameraman, cheerleader, coach or whatever on the sideline, who inadvertently take out those folks often take the time to help the person up or at least check to make sure that they are ok.   Adams, who had no other pressing matters to attend to other than wallowing in his own frustration, kept walking right past the guy without even a glance.  Nah... the apology was damage control.

Apples and oranges. Completely different situations.  And its why the police have filed a charge against Adams, but the only charges in the incident with Wagner have been levied against the trespasser(s).

Might actually get a night game

Yeah, I wasn’t sure about that one and I didn’t bother to verify. I was thinking about the game where Jason Witten had his helmet come off and he rumbled downfield for a big gain anyway. Maybe that was 2012?
