no thank you, we already have a kicker.

A #4 pick for a edge rusher maybe past his prime is okay by me. I think Quinn will be psyched being on the Eagles.

Great trade.  Now just need a competent safety so Wallace never plays if CJ gets hurt again.

He is the weakest link for sure. Read somewhere they thought the Eagles should try and get McLeod from Indy for cheap.

I'm wondering what's up with Sermon? I would love for him to get some action and see what been have in him.

Denver's Melvin Gordon also has 66 attempts with almost same yardage but could be traded for much less I assume anything more than a late round draft pick would be too much for the Eagles to make the trade.
I think the smart play is to contact Detroit Lions for veteran HB Jamaal Williams whom is averaging an extra yard more per attempt than Hunt & Gordon.

Reminds me of 2017 when Eagles brought in veteran HB Blount which helped get to the Super Bowl to defeat patriots.

Seriously, if you're an NFL GM and you see a call from the Philadelphia area code, just don't answer the phone...

Yeah we can't afford to give up anything other than our two 7th rounders in next year's draft. Perhaps we could package those along with one of our later '24 picks for Hunt or Montomery.

Williams would be an intriguing option for sure.

One thing I know for sure is that we need to steer well clear of Kamara.

While I really want to keep the Saints pick  we can afford everything if it leads to a SB.

We should certainly amplify our chances for a SB run, but there needs to be a limitation as to what we believe will get us there.

As such, the Saints pick should remain intact either for grabbing a blue chip prospect or trading back for, hopefully, a handsome amount of assets in return next year should individuals such as Will Anderson, Jalen Carter or Myles Murphy not fall to us.

I'm hopeful we land another impactful RB to share the load with Sanders, but it will take some decisive maneuvering on Howie's part to get us that balance of trade value and RB production that we need to get us over the line.

We brought in Blount before the season because we needed a starter (2016 was the end of the road for Mathews). We brought in Ajayi before the deadline because Smallwood was disappointing when filling in.

Right now we have a legit starter and two very capable reserves. We also took a flyer on  Sermon when the 49ers hoped to move him to their PS. He looked good on his limited snaps when Scott was not active. Hurts provides tough, short yardage effectiveness and lessens the need for extra RB depth. There really isn't anybody out there I want to give up anything for or make it harder to keep some of the guys whose contracts end this season.

Picking up a guy this season really has no impact beyond this season. Unless the team wants to keep them around. It doesn't really have impact on future contracts of existing players.

Way too much focus from fans on cap, contracts, and draft pick hoarding.

I'd like another decent RB. I know every RB looks good playing for us but if Sanders gets hurt we lose an important part of this offense.

If there is the right RB with the right situation at the right price, why not.  Otherwise, it's Trey Sermon or signing Jordan Howard off the Saints' practice squad.

Not much was said about Sermon so far.  Could he be the power RB if we need one in games?  Howard could be an alternate.  He knows the system and is serviceable.

S could use a back-up in case of injury.  Wallace has not established himself.  But if no other option, you just run with what you have.

RS is in the similar situation.  Upgrade it if someone can be had at reasonable cost.  Otherwise, go with what you have on the roster including the PS.

This team is so stacked and healthy right now i dont think we have anymore urgent needs after the Quinn trade.

Would like to see more snaps for Sermon & Blankenship before this season ends. Maybe in garbage time against these weaker teams like Pittsburgh. Pays to close out teams and not let them hang around like we have done so far. Need more experience & depth for next year in case we don't resign guys.

I'd like to see Sermon and Nakobe Dean get more snaps over the next 11 games.......Sermon could provide some power running and Dean is an all around LB and good at rushing the passer.

I don't care how they do it.....maybe with a big lead and giving white/edwards a breather.  Use Sermon in the 4th to eat up clock and not overuse Sanders.

Gee, I got an idea - how about the Eagles acquire Alvin Kamara from the Saints, or better yet, Derrick Henry from the Titans.  3rd round pick should do it, right?  (Seems like the type of speculation I tend to see on social media and fan based podcasts)

IMO, that's what we're missing. Sanders is excellent, but he does not wear down defenses. We need a big back to compliment him. Trust me, this is what's going to make all the difference at playoff time. You can best believe Dallas will give a heavy doses of Zeke and Pollard when we play them on 12/24. We'll need to do the same.

What if they get one tomorrow before the deadline, will you still be disappointed?

Hunt seems obvious but maybe they go after Wilson

Somewhere, Jordan Howard is charging his phone.

As much as I would love Hunt, Howard makes sense compensation wise and he knows the team. But Hunt gives you pass catching as well.

Last I read was the market for Hunt has collapsed and the Browns are now asking for a conditional 5th.  If the Bengals win tonight, there might be a fire sale in Cleveland tomorrow.
