December 2, 20213 yr My first impression is that the owners don't want to negotiate. And they want to put pressure on the players to create urgency. Also, owners wanna own the franchise and the players. No early free agency. They own you. My last point is that a baseball strike in unAmerican in these times of job uncertainty. I am not worried about player jobs, but stadium jobs, local economic impact to businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc. I blame the owners for their lack of judgement. They had our attention with free agency. Now, we just think they are showing their arses.
