April 25, 20223 yr Rhys is a mystery to me. There's nothing I like about him on first glance. Power is good but far from great for a 1B (especially a 1b who is a liability in the field). Batting average is poor and he is extremely hot and cold. But, to quote moneyball, he gets on base. He's a career .240 hitter though and that's where he's going to stay. That's not ideal for a poor fielding 1B who isn't mashing them out of the park with regularity.

April 27, 20223 yr I’m watching this game - Segura had to run from first to home - it took him a solid ten minutes to catch his breath. Like another two batters went, they changed pitchers and when they came back he was still doubled over. That’s absolutely pathetic for a professional athlete - get your fat ass into shape
April 28, 20223 yr Schwarber might be the worst hitter on the team currently which is impressive cause hoskins hasn’t hit all that well. But Alec bohm, didi and castellanos seem to be pretty consistent.

I’m guessing schwarber isn’t this bad all year. But my biggest fear was last year In a contract year he played great for 4 months and you wouldn’t get that type of schwarber in this contract. Frankly hoskins should be dealt and move bohm to 1b

And you can’t DH him cause castellanos or schwarber has to more often then not.
