April 21, 20241 yr Well it was a nice one game run by Castellanos. Got a 10 game road trip to cincy, padres and angels. Really would like to go 6-4 or 7-3. Anything under .500 is not a great trip cause angels aren’t very good. And should be able to at least go 4-3 in the games with SD and cincy.

You’re not gonna be able to trade him with how bad he’s been for most of this year. The time to do it was the offseason cause he came off a decent year. Would’ve had to eat some money though and i don’t think they wanted too. Stark said no one wanted to trade for him and i believe he said the Phillies didn’t want to eat some of the contract to do it. If they get Soto next year it makes no sense to have him when you can start Rojas (assuming he keeps improving with his bat) and marsh with Soto.

April 23, 20241 yr Super run and just what the Phils needed. I think this is the year this group avoids needing a late run to get into playoff contention and instead stays in the division hunt all season. The starting pitching is so good we should see a 95 win team as long as they stay healthy.

Winning 7 in a row, putting a record together with a clear gap over .500, and staying close to the Braves is a key thing to do here in the first half of the year if they aren't going to need another run in the last six weeks just to scrape into the playoffs again as has been the case.
