For Arozerena it’s his first time really struggling. I’m betting he goes on a tear the second half of the year. I tend to think better lineup around him and change of atmosphere would turn him around. Also I’m guessing the price would be low since he’s been bad but he has two years of arbitration left. he would be my third choice of the 3. He’d also be behind jazz and bellinger if both became available. Probably shouldn’t say heartbeat but I’d be very interested in acquiring him if his price is low which it would be right now with how bad he’s struggling. tbh i think he makes a lot of sense for Atlanta. Acuna is out for the year. You get two more years of arbitration and the Braves have been known to take chances on guys and resurrect their careers. So I wouldn’t be all that surprise if the Braves can get him for a good price they would make that move. Because he has high upside and controlled for 2 more years
June 4, 20241 yr Continuing to chug along even though the bats have quieted down a bit thanks to great starting pitching. I have no doubt the bats are going to heat up again especially once Turner gets going again. Looking good...

Arozarena actually strikes out more than Castellanos, but also walks more.

Randy is also 3 years younger and less mlb experience (he’s only played 3 full years cause his first two usage he got limited time of 19 and 23 games). he’s also not making $20 mil and likely team friendly arbitration the next two years. He is also stealing more bases and before this drop off this year his obp was higher at .350. I think casty might just be in the decline at 32 going on 33 and you aren’t breaking his bad habits that he’s always had. I think given Randy’s age (29) more chance he comes out of it and you can help with some of the habits he has. Even if Randy on a normal year doesn’t hit better than .250-260 in a year his OBP has been on average around .350 the previous 3 years. Basically Rhys had .246 avg and .350 the last 3 years. I think Rhys has more pop but Randy also didn’t get the luxury of playing in CBP or in the same lineup Rhys had, better fielder than Rhys and steals more bases

June 4, 20241 yr This offense has been a real drag since Colorado series. We’re gonna get shut out tonight aren’t we?

This is what they looked like against the giants the night they did crap in 10 innings. Hoping they get going but these were the type of at bats they had
June 5, 20241 yr I’m positive we could put a ghost runner at second for the next 3 innings and we won’t bring any of them home.
