I was able to hit 80 mph at one time , the only way my pitches hit 60 is if it takes an uber to home plate. I think I tore my UCL when I was a coach throwing BP

Living out here I’d be really really shocked if they dealt Marte. They wanted to like 4 years ago and didn’t. But now he’s pretty universally loved. Although he’s 32 so the time to capitalize on his value would be now. Probably could get painter, Stott, Escobar and Jean Cabrera in that type of deal. Would be a haul. Especially if you think you can fix Stott. Marte in his first 3 years was a .260 type hitter. They really were able to elevate him to where he is after working with him for a couple of season. There’s been rumors for months that Suarez is gonna leave in FA if not dealt at the deadline. Gallen is gone either trade or FA. Merrill Kelly is likely to be traded for the right deal as he’s a FA at year’s end. They might be going into a rebuild next year as Burnes is out too. Essentially they have pfaadt and Rodriguez as guys for their 2026 rotation
