This is who they are. Especially, the manager. He has cost them games every playoff.

I know this already. Doesn’t make it hurt any less

Tired of Harper and schwarbers disappearing act.

We should have sacrificed a live chicken

Thomson leaving Robertson in was an issue. Other issue is our RHP is crap besides Duran out of the pen. Kerkering had been bad for 2 months now. Robertson is what he is. So facing back to back RH hitters it was either use Duran now or Kerkering or Robertson. Unless of course you wanted Nola lol

Due to the 3-batter rule, I think Thomson had to leave him in. He got the 1 batter the inning before and once you go out for the next inning, he had to face at least 2 more batters. I believe that's how it works anyways.

Oh, the bullpen isn't that good? You don't say.

They’ve been not good since the royals series. Not surprising they really have Duran and pretty much everyone else is questionable

Why put him out there again

If they go out with a whimper, especially if Schwarber continues his disappearing act, then they don't need to re-sign him. Allocate that money to other positions.

I think because he finished the inning in the sixth they could’ve removed him and put in another right handed pitcher. But the problem is your other right handed pitchers all stink. Kerkering has been one of the worst relievers since the beginning of August. Robertson just isn’t good enough. He’s a second tier reliever that you’re asking to be a top-tier reliever because Kerkering decided he was gonna beat Crap the last third of the season. So you were either gonna have to use Duran way too early which makes it an issue when you get to the ninth period or you were gonna have to go , Nola and hope nola could give you one inning in that spot. Which he is really never been a bullpen guy.

That's RT to a tee.

With 2 RH hitters back to back it was going to be a RHP. Options are use Duran in the 7th. Meaning 9th inning disaster. So unlikely. Robertson or Kerkering. Kerkering and Robertson are both disasters. Could say nola but he’s not a reliever.

Thomson deserves blame cause I’d have not gone back to Robertson. But the bigger issue here is Dave built a **** bullpen that has Duran and banks who you trust

DR sucks

Why they remove Bader instead of Kepler dumbness

Yeah, RT could have removed Robertson after the bottom of the inning, but Thomson being Thomson, he didn't. I understand Kerkering's problems, but I would have taken the chance.

So does Kerkering. His era has been nearly 5 since August 1. Issue is more Dave’s got a crap pen besides closer and banks

Down and away Castellanos.

Could someone explain why Thompson took Bader out for that pos

Or at least have him bat gor someone else besides Bader.

If bader isn’t hurt I’m firing Thomson before the 9th inning

Nola would have been fine to me. He only lasts a few innings anyway

Bader is hurt is my guess after getting hit in the hand/arm. No other reason to weaken your defense on purpose

I'm so freaking sick of the big names on that team vanishing. They need to clean house top to bottom in that organization. The fact a 2 run lead feels insurmountable at home is BS

I think the issue is that Nola has not thrown out of the bullpen. So you’re throwing him into a high leverage situation as a reliever that he’s not been in before. asking him to do it in a year where he’s been pretty bad for most of it. If they would’ve used him out of the bullpen down the stretch which they probably should’ve done the last month knowing he wasn’t gonna be at the starter it would’ve made a lot more sense.

Bader has a hamstring strain

I get that but when your RPs suck think outside the box in the playoffs
