It's comical. 1/2 starters and it's a lock for 7 innings and 1 run. 4/5 and it's a lock for 4-5 innings and hemorrhaging runs.For a team that is so heavily dependent on pitching with a soft lineup, that's a guarantee to hover around .500. You'll drop some tough ones with your horses on the mound and steal a couple high scoring madness games with your lousy pitchers.That sort of hones in on Luzardo to be the guy that moves the needle. He's the difference between being overwhelmingly likely to win or lose more than half the games.

So you can at least know against good lefties what he looks like against them. in the playoffs, if you put him in the cleanup spot and he winds up showing he can’t hit good left-handed pitching, the issues gonna wind up being you’re gonna have to remove him from the game and put in Sosa in a big spot and stick with Sosa for the rest of the game. that’s not ideal.

June 7Jun 7 Really sucks we don't have a viable 4th starter. Having a **** 5th starter is one thing but when you have to deal with two crappy pitchers in your rotation it makes it WAY tougher.
