September 24, 20224 yr I like to look at it like this. If the Phillies go 6-6 in their last 12 then Milwaukee has to go 9-2 to beat them out. (you can figure it out for 7-5, 8-4, etc) These 2 wins were huge.

If the Phillies can split the next 2 with the Braves, take 2 of 3 vs. cubs and 3 of 4 vs. nats it’s going to be really hard for the brewers to overcome that with 2 games coming up this week against the cardinals who could clinch the division beating them twice.
