Because there is no reason to waste pitches by Dominguez, it is a terrible move even though they got through the inning, it is a ripple effect, these pitchers are treated like fragile glass, who knows now if Dominguez can pitch tomorrow

I’m guessing dominguez can as it was just 9 pitches. Really the issue is games 3-7. There’s no off day so you using the pen when wheeler was money feels like you could wind up running into issues later in the series.
