After Cam went to the Super Bowl

2016 - 6-10 record

2017 - 11-5 lost in wild card round

2018 - 6-9

2019 - 5-11 ( Cam missed 14 games ) and was released after the season

This is what we are worried about @justwinbaby

I can understand that train of thought. Really I do. But Cam and Hurts are very very different players in many regards. Put them in the same boat if you want to. Time will tell.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

If its a wrong vs right argument you want, we were right about him consistently getting hurt.

I had him at 24 throwing tds and 4k yards...you are correct, I was wrong.

They absolutely get injured. You are correct. Bravo sir. Glad you could rub a few brain cells together to get that generic answer out as fast as you could. Wanna discuss how other QBs last longer in the league and aren't injured every single season theyve been a starter? No .... I get it. Go birds, if the kid breaks, get a new one... Smh

and you wonder why I make the comments about ganging up and berating people. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm there are no discussions to be had with you guys.

You aren't making any actual arguments. You answer like a politician, never get anywhere. We show you stats and examples and you run on blind faith.  There are a few QBs who have a similar style in the league and all but him are at home right now, and he has a gimp shoulder. We aren't ganging up on you, but I know for myself I'm going to hold people accountable and ask follow up questions. It's how debate works

What are we wrong about exactly ??

We are on the exact same career trajectory as Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson.

Short term success, minimal playoff success and then injuries derailed it.

You saw the Cam stats above, and Lamar Jacksons team success, and his production is going down since his MVP season, on top of missing 10 games the last two years.

No problem princess. We all learn at different speeds.

That is a deflection.  Bring something to the table showing we are incorrect about the career path of a run first QB, who had a successful season, and then it went downhill with injuries and or poor play.

Cute playing the victim though

Yes ma'am we do. And you're coming along very veryyy slowly. Hurts gave you a lesson all season while counting him out. What were you saying about him prior to this season? Would you like to be held accountable for all that?

Nice deflection of your Cam argument. Did you see how I responded to that? In a civilized way? I don't think you know how to do that.

Oh I have princess. I was the first in the group actually to defend him and said he deserves to get paid. But I don't expect you to be able to read beyond your biases.

Sure sure after how long???

He underperformed as a passer because he defaults as a runner. I actually think he could of hit 30tds in the air if he stayed in the pocket. I'm talking about extending his career while you celebrate his collision course to being irrelevant in two-three years

We have all stated, multiple times, that he has played very well this year.

Does not mean we cant still have doubts about long term success.  Every Raven and Panthers fan who doubted the long term success of Lamar ( after an MVP award ) and Cam Newton ( after an MVP award and Super Bowl appearance ) are looking pretty smart right now.

Just making this worse on yourself lol

This post reads like you want him to play poorly in the playoffs. Very rtk of you.

My apologies, I missed that reply.

They are the same player, except, the year Cam won MVP he did it with 35 passing TD's.

The discussion isn't about even getting rid of him. It's how to extend his career. How is that hating on this kid?
