hey….. how smart do you feel now after calling hurts "Tyrod Taylor at best”? Do you feel smart after calling Jalen hurts a "rb playing qb” all off-season and for half of this season? How smart do you feel for saying hurts "will never have the kind of jump Josh Allen did”?

You obviously did not read any of the posts.  We have not talked about the injury, and how it impacts the divisional round.

We have been talking about the long game, Hurts getting a contract extension, and the history of similar QB's after MVP years.

Do you actually want this discussion or you just looking for attention? I would love to discuss the difference between Allen's jump and Hurts and the long term effects it has on both their careers playing battering ram. I would love to discuss Hurts rushing numbers being good enough to be a rb pro bowl alternate. We could discuss all of this if you'd be capable of holding such a conversation

Imagine being more focused on how right you were about 1 player, instead of the focus now being on THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES winning a Super Bowl.

Actually Gardner Minshew played like a backup for 2 weeks straight. Hurts played like a backup in the playoff game. And hurts has played like an mvp and taken the jump in qb play some thought was possible but a few loud-mouths thought was impossible. 
 

btw none of these are facts. All opinions. Kinda like pretending to worry that Jalen will get a big contract because he’s performed so well and it will hurt the team in the long run.

You know time moves on right? Any reasonable poster who doubted Hurts has eaten crow. We’ve posted numerous times in this very thread that we were wrong about him. We aren’t going to keep doing it every single page.

So now, the conversation has changed, because he’s going to be in contract talks next year. And some of us are discussing the pros and cons of that.

But you seem to be stuck in this pre school mindset while the rest of us have graduated to high school. Grow up

I'd like for Howie to wait another year before giving out the mega contract but I wouldn't be pissed. He did play great. It's just giving a mega contract after 1 great year is spooky

Plus the longer Howie delays having to start paying that QB mega contract he can work on other players that we need

I would say the sooner the better. Right now deals signed by Rodgers, Wilson, Murray and Watson are aging like milk left outside in August, and the team has a lot of leverage to give him a deal in the Mahomes/Allen neighborhood. 

We want to get it done before the recent rights deals go into effect as well, plus beat deals for lower tier guys like Daniel Jones.
