I'm curious of this scenario. With paying everyone with the money we don't really have. Offense should be okay, but coach changes and defense having a bunch of new pieces doesn't seem like the formula to keep it going. I'm hoping you are right, and actually hate being doom and gloom....I was the same way after 2017. Caught a bunch of ish for saying we should of blown it up the day after the Superbowl lol

He offensive core is locked up so no issue there other than Sanders. Two first round picks to use to get extra players. My guess is they lock up CJGJ. They have some young defenders who can replace guys already on the roster. Blankenship and CJGJ can be your safeties. White is probably gone, but Dean is his replacement. Graham might be gone and so might Cox, but people have wanted that done for years and we have Davis now. Yeah there are a lot of moving pieces, but I am not going to doubt Howie here. Also it’s not realistic to think this team will win back to back to back SBs. Teams generally take a step back after winning one and then bounce back. Ultimately the years beyond will play out as they will, but considering Howie took us from nothing with Chip to a SB, and now from Wentz and cap hell to here I am willing to wait and see.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

Yes, we know, we have accepted it and moved on.  You should as well, this is about the team and winning a title, not about being petty and being right.  You were, congrats, now move along.

I know it is hard to move on though, you still have not moved on form the former Colts QB.

Meh you haven’t really accepted anything, but I’ll give you a chance. Is Jalen Hurts a top five quarterback in the league? Yes or no.

On the fringe, definitely top 10.

And I thought you had me on ignore ??

So your answer is no. So what in your mind would make him top 5?

Continuing this success into next year, winning a playoff game next year, and doing both with what will be a lesser team, which is destined to happen.

And then?

And then we had a down year and built the team back up. We won a superbowl, I'll take a terrible year in the half decade after.

But none of these responses were prerequisites to Wentz being considered top five to you. Okay so who are 9-10 quarterbacks who are better than Hurts?

I never said Wentz was a top 5 QB.

So who are your 9-10 better than Hurts and sorry I was a little confused considering how much you defended that guy when he never came close to your own perceptions of what a top five guy is.

I did not say there was 9-10 better, I said he was top 10, on the cusp of top 5.

Is this what you really took me off ignore for, so you can show everyone how right you were and how wrong I was.

I already ate that crow, why don't you come up with something new to be right about.

Well I'm curious. Who are these QBs?

Actually haven’t taken you off ignore, but the reason I put you on was due to those other guys or one of you crying to the mods. I did it to protect myself. Bottom line is if what I write isn’t about you then it shouldn’t have any effect on you. Okay so now we have Hurts in the top ten now. Who is better?

Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Rodgers, Brady and Stafford.

So I currently have Hurts 8th taking full body of work into account.  Moves to 6 ahead of Brady and Stafford using recency bias.

Haha full body of work to help your argument huh? Well shoot you might as well add Joe Flacco, Russell Wilson, etc. to that so I guess Hurts really is about 15th then

And how is ignoring protecting you ??

When has Flacco or Wilson won a playoff game recently ??

Stafford won the Super Bowl last year.

Brady won the Super Bowl two years ago and beat Hurts in the playoffs last year.

Rodgers was in the 2019 and 2020 NFCCG.

Herbert doesn’t quite fit your mold and neither does Burrow considering A) Borrow and Herbert haven’t signed their big contract with lesser talent around them. Herbert has no playoff success to speak to and also has not had to deal with the big contract. How are you excluding them from the same prerequisites that you are giving Hurts. Also Stafford didn’t have much playoff success until he went to the Rams and the following season his team floundered and he got hurt. What are you basing his top five status on?

Having Herbert over Hurts is clownish.

might as well put Dak over hurts if you’re that dumb.

You asked who my top QB's are.  Burrow is coming off a Super Bowl appearance, and is 1 game away from going back.

Herbert is just a superior passer to Hurts, and once the Chargers figure out how to get out of their own way, he will get his in the playoffs.

You know what, I am moving on to the EAGLES quest for a title.

My apologies to @EazyEaglez @Boogyman @The Holy Vagabond @justwinbaby

You guys were right the whole time, I was wrong.  Jalen Hurts is the best QB in the NFL and should never be doubted.

Give him his big money extension and we will win title after title, and you guys can tell me year after year how wrong I was.

Have fun in the Hurts thread, I will be in the Eagles thread.

Sorry but your prerequisites are all over the place. Jalen is one game from the Super Bowl just like Burrow. Herbert doesn’t fit your mold and has yet to deal with receivers the likes of Reagor and JJAW. Herbert threw three more touchdowns than Jalen while throwing 4 more interceptions. All in all Jalen had 35 touchdowns to Herbert’s 25. Kind of feels like you’re operating under a far different set of rules for these guys over Hurts. I’m not even going to get into Brady or Rodgers. They’re guys who have been great for years even though they aren’t the players they used to be anymore right now. Recently though Rodgers has not really been able to have much to any playoff success.

Lol I’m not quite sure what the meltdown is about considering the Eagles have a very good young quarterback right? Why are you angry about that?

Not a meltdown.  I am giving you what you want.

You were right, and I was wrong on an epic level.

Now can we move on.

NFL QB rankings.

Mahomes

Burrow

Hurts

Typical butthurt, retarded type of response. I'm sorry you let it come to this, Slappy.

And no, I was dead wrong. I hoped for him to be good and get better, but I beat him up a lot last year and definitely didn't expect he would be our guy going forward. I thought Minshew was the better option. I was expecting a sort of dissapointing mixed bag from him this year and for us to draft a QB this offseason. Pretty sure after that Giants game last season a trashed the ish out of him and pretty much gave up.

I'm happy to have been wrong.
