Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

It really is strange how triggered some people get by the strangest things. Crying about someone mentioning a former qb seems way high on the karen meter to me.

Lol of course you’d say that

There's mentioning it and then there's working it into 85% of your posts when it has nothing to do with the conversation.

I'd almost be willing to bet he's mentioned him more than the rest of the site combined.

A simple board search brought up 432 posts where he mentioned "Wentz." Then there are all the nicknames he uses for Wentz and also the slurs he uses on anybody that didn't partake in the anti-Wentz campaign. I like that the new board upgrade shows the leading posters in certain topics:

Someone ping me when this circular argument turns into a circular firing squad, and we can have a reasonable conversation! Such entrenched positions! This isn't a conpetition, it's a message board...

For what it is worth, in my view Jalen's style of play means he can do everything. This makes him very dangerous. It comes with perhaps a higher likelihood of injury as he has to deal with more contact than some other QBs, but without that added dynamic he wouldn't be in the running for MVP - he'd merely be a top ten passer. That reward comes with risk, and it appears to be a risk that Jalen, and the Eagles in general, are willing to accept. It's got him and the team this far, so perhaps they are right to do so. Time will tell.

Maybe he has a shorter career as a result, maybe he doesn't. Players get injured, QBs get injured. It's a physical and dangerous sport. I love that he puts his body on the line for his team. Players in every other position do, after all.

Can't we just enjoy what he brings to the team? I can't remember a season where the Eagles felt like the complete package to this extent. I thought we would make the playoffs, and win the East. But Hurts' performance, and that of the whole team, has been incredible. The Birds were 25-1 or so for the title at the start of the season, and i thought they were good value. But this is beyond belief, and we should enjoy it while we can. This feels special. Make the most of it! Or, to put it another way - enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.

His style makes the D have to play more of the field making them weaker somewhere, also more chance of incurring an injury when he does chose to or has no other choice to run but he lessens those chances by his professional attitude of being in penultimate physical condition. That being said they need a backup QB with a similar style with the ability to both run and extend plays so the offense misses less of a beat. Sad watching Gardiner trying halfheartedly to sneak. Not sure what they see in Book but I’ve been wrong before because I never anticipated Hurts being able to take it up to this level. Wouldn’t bother me if they spent a 4th on a qb this year, seems like a lot of suitable candidates to also fill that void. For example Tua’s brother at Maryland. He’s kind of nifty. Oh well I see he’s staying at Maryland. Haha, Hurts Tua might not have worked out anyway

I could definitely see them adding another quarterback in the draft as well especially if they extend Hurts this off-season. They are going to have to cut cost at someplace. Between Book, Hurts, and a drafted quarterback that is a very young quarterback room though.

Overall I just wish some of you had the same fervor of supporting the Eagles quarterback as you have coming at me, but it’s painfully obvious that you don’t.

It‘s true, and you had a point. And you sure drove it home.

But it‘s time to let it go.

Some of us have fervor to spare and are capable of directing said fervor at multiple topics simultaneously.

Is that what you did with what's-his-name?

All I'm saying is be consistent. Don't call people out for something you have done too.

Its the NFCCG and you are in the stands. Wake up. Make some noise.

I'm too tired because I said Wentz sucks on Friday. 👀

Yeah and it’s kind of lame to see the worry about five years from now Hurts is gonna be injured posts. We aren’t tired of that? Heck five years from now Hurts could have three Super Bowls in his pocket. The bottom line is we don’t know yet the same people always slant negative.

I’m not sure if I follow. If I was wrong about a player I admit that I’m wrong about them good or bad. 🤷‍♂️
