There's nothing about a ban. They want to put health risk stickers on new gas ranges explaining possible risks with recommendations for  proper ventilation such as hoods with exterior venting.

Yep.  Dems  have a lot of ground to make up when it comes to branding your opponent by their broad ideology.  The mainstream (MAGA) faction of the Republican party is fascist.  And the goal is to radically transform the US into a sheetholde fascist autocracy much like Russia, so that point should be hammered as much as possible.

Republicans found out long ago that if you stick to a broad ideological attack, that it can supersede flaws in their candidates, because quite frankly what's a little infidelity/insanity/corruption, etc, if the other choice wants to transform your country into the Soviet Union.  Dems have thankfully taken note in the last few years (with an assist from Trump of course) and they actually laid out that ideological choice pretty convincingly in '22 to solid results.  The need to stick with it.
