African Americans would like to see the first black VP. Women would like to see the first woman VP. So you attach a black woman VP to the old white guy. Good point. But at the end of the day, ita a government paying job and should follow ethical guidelines 1st and foremost. Hiring someone based on gender or race is far from ethical.
