The ref is back! Back on the scene! Like an outrage flagging machine!

You poked fun at using profanity, I posted liberals using profanity and you got butthurt. You dismiss them since you have never seen them personally, so only things you personally see yourself are true? Oooook. It's ok to admit there are weirdos on your side too, they won't take your blue check mark away.

Hey man, you linked profanity with low intelligence in your post, stand by your logic. Always so easy to trigger with a good ole "Both sides, both sides!"

May 27, 20215 yr For those who are 45, don't put off getting scoped. Found out one of my college roommates just got diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer. Spread to his liver, pancreas, and kidneys already. Was in good health otherwise. Not even 40 years old yet.

When I was working in NEPA during the 2016 election, I literally saw people flipping the bird and yelling F You to a group of Pro Trump supporters (small group holding signs, etc). Not a rally, literally everyday folk walking down the street I can’t recall seeing a single instance of that happening to Hillary supporters. Anecdotal evidence is fun
May 28, 20215 yr life must be way different on Earth II where it's common to see profane pro- biden/anti-trump signs & flags in folks' yards (and on pickup trucks) 6 months after the election. actually, it sounds amazing!

I mean... there’s still people getting mileage out of being deplorables. In comparison the 2020 election is pretty recent.

Taking into account the potential consequences, I'm considering getting one done now (not yet 40) and paying for it out of pocket, or doing something like cologuard. In general, I'm a proponent of more elective and earlier performed medical diagnostics. When it comes to my health, better to make that investment too early than too late.

No symptoms until one day he had pain in the side area of his ribs that got worse over the course of a week. Then one night it was so bad they went to the hospital, ran a battery of tests, and they found cancer in his liver and some other organs later on. Bloodwork showed nothing abnormal which was weird. Had been likely spreading undetected for months apparently. Just recently had their first child after trying to conceive for years. It's F'ed up.

I need to get back to my doctor. I skipped my physical in 2020 for obvious reasons. I'm almost too frightened to get blood work done now given how terrible my diet and lack of exercise has been the last year ...

For what it’s worth, in many cases a doc will still shoot for 50 for your first a** rape unless you are higher risk due to family history or something like that. For that to happen to someone in their 30’s or younger is just bad luck. Very sad situation there. My last checkup my doc even said, "yeah, your 47. We don’t have to talk about colonoscopy for a few years yet.” But some docs do recommend 45 now, especially if you have underlying health issues or family history. I’m not saying 45 is a bad thing, but you don’t have to hurry up if you’re under 50. Unless, of course, your doc recommends it. Your docs are always smarter than you in the field of medicine. Follow their advice rather than some anecdotal case you read online or hear about. Just my $0.02.
