I can't recall if we've ever done the trade... if so it may have been the first year draft pick trading was proposed... so it has crossed my mind as a way to mix things up a little bit.

First year I did "the trade" was in 2015 and Redden jumped on it. 2016 it was Redden again and I'm pretty sure every year we did a pick swap, either me moving out of or getting an extra pick in the first.

It's more about synergy with special teams. Like I don't believe you should get points for a kick return for having the player. That's the ST unit. It would eliminate the randomness of your kicker being Justin tucker without also having the baltimore defense starting. More strategy in that area. Or just eliminate it entirely but a defense/st unit can just as easily win a game if they score touchdowns. It's just as random. It's almost like we should remove defense special teams and kickers all together.

It's almost like we should remove defense special teams and kickers all together. I would argue that while dst TDs are not a constant, it’s less random when you have an elite defense. A kickers scoring is almost completely dependent on a unit they are not even a part of.
August 17, 20232 yr One time my buddy got pissed, because he had an elite Jets D/ST, but they got a terrible score one week when Sanchize threw two pick sixes. 14 points "given up” by his DST unit when they weren’t even on the field
