October 24, 20241 yr I’ve seen a few commercials where it’s some random voice noting that after the election, your friends, family, and/or neighbors can see if you voted or not. That the pitch to get you to vote. What’s the reason behind these commercials? It seems like a threat of some sort, but I can’t quite figure out why someone is spending money on this. Any ideas?

They've been going on for a while - specifically targeted in areas where Democrats rely on GOTV to win because of a registration or demographic advantage. It's basically a thinly-veiled threat. Whether you voted, and your party registration are publicly available information in the US. "It'd be a shame if anyone learned that you sat this election out with a fascist running. You're not a fascist... are you? ARE YOU?!"
October 24, 20241 yr Put me down for Harris 292, Trump 246 I’ve got Harris taking the blue wall states, plus NC and Nevada. A few states try some B.S. before certification, but the Justice Department reminds them that non-certification without evidence is a federal crime, and that nonsense fades away. Trump uses the diversion in some Republican states to leave the country, and is living somewhere in Europe in early 2025. Gone for good by the end of 2027.
