People who live in a State still have lives where they may need to vote by mail. Even Trump is encouraging mail in voting this time around. You don’t need to pretend you’re against it.

I am against it. I'll be there in person on Tuesday just as I have been since the age of 18.

That said "election day".

Cheaters support this too.  There's plenty of time to get your ballot if you want to vote by mail.  Voting by mail should be the exception, not the rule.  If you can vote in person, you should do so.

Before 2020, both sides of the aisle agreed that voting by mail could be tainted by fraud.

@WentzFan11 - Jimmy Carter and James Baker III are two of the most anti-Trump people you'll find out there.

The Carter-Baker Commission, 16 Years Later: Voting by Mail

In 2005, former President Jimmy Carter and former U.S. Secretary of State James A. Baker, III, co-chaired the Commission on Federal Election Reform, which produced a report on the U.S. electoral process and recommendations on maximizing ballot access and election integrity.

Sixteen years later, many of the recommendations remain relevant. While the COVID-19 pandemic and record number of voters who cast absentee or mail-in ballots raised concerns about the security of the 2020 absentee process, the Carter-Baker report warned: "Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.

If the DOE was worth a $hit a diploma might not be a bad start.

Since we insist on graduating the illiterate because "racism", we're basically Fed either way.

Before 2020 neither party cared that much. It wasn't until the orange crybaby whined that you morons thought differently.

Neither should be swaying any votes.  Same for the actors, artists and musicians who typically are clueless when it comes to such things.

As clueless as you? Not buying it.

Neither candidate is going to enjoy the next 4 years.

Seventy-four percent of those voters say they feel the country is heading on the "wrong track," including 50% of those who are backing Harris, the results show. Among Trump supporters, that figure rises to 98%.

The poll, which was taken from Oct. 29-Nov. 1, also revealed that 60% of voters are dissatisfied with the candidates presented to them in this race for the presidency.

Just saw something interesting and funny...

Both Trump and Musk equally hate looking stupid and losing. They both equally enjoy blaming others for their failures. If Trump loses, how many days will it take for Trump and Musk to start beefing with each other?

If you actually have two degrees you're kinda making my point.

In real campaign related news, or at least informed opinion, Selzer went onto the Bulwark podcast and talked about the polling.

Her contention is that specifically in Iowa abortion has been a motivating issue in the races for Congress that are leaning Democrat. That's half the state. This is showing in the polling up to the White House race.

It's not unreasonable that it would have an effect, I'm skeptical it's going to change the outcome at the top.

Just read that Wisconsin early vote is 51% women. If that holds through election day you can remove WI off the list for Trump.

I wish they'd stick to blaming racism and misogyny like their counter parts.

It's very unharmonious.

Panicking?

The Des Moines Register-sponsored poll had shown Harris leading Trump by three points in the reliably red state.

However, a poll released later in the day by Emerson College showed that Trump had a 10-point lead, 53% to 43%.

Who would YOU rather have as your secretary of state - Mike Pompeo or Anthony Blinken?  Hmmmm.

Was the world a safer or more chaotic place during the Trump administration as opposed to the Harris-Biden administration?
