Dude can fund raise all he wants but these people are wasting their money if they think it has any effect on the race.

Larry Hogan, who is bleeding support because he actually sees Trump for what he is, would have no shot. Romney wouldn't run, but if he did he also wouldn't have a shot. Trump has destroyed the Republican party by making it a party of Trump or nobody. Because if Trump isn't at the top of the ticket, voters will revolt.

They just stupidly only care about the populist base revolting and not the conservatives.

These idiots get bilked for all this money and they will still lose in November, making it all for naught anyway. It's like Jerry backing up a brinks truck for Dak only to watch him choke in the playoffs every single time. You'd think they would know better by now, but they're incredibly stupid people so it's mostly for our amusement in the end.

It might feel good now with the conviction but this thing was always going to be a net positive for Trump. All the added frenetic exposure, the added grifting stories, the added zest to the victim card plays, etc. etc. etc. I hated seeing this one be the single trial we will actually get prior to November. Of course I do like seeing him being pronounced guilty, a LOT, but in all honesty it doesn't help one little bit in keeping him out of office.
May 31, 20242 yr I've seen people saying they'd vote for trump for the comedic value of having a convicted president. I'd like to think they're joking but
May 31, 20242 yr If Trump wins, there are all kinds of insane developments that I have no idea how to handle. For starters -- convicted felons can't get a security clearance. But he would be the President...so, I have no clue.

I think just being president would bypass that as the position makes them different. It's a strange thing

No idea how other countries would react to our embarrassing outcome if that happened I could see some saying no entry but could easily see trump saying something stupid to provoke something else The rabbit hole could get scary

The national security implications alone are stunning.

The dude had nuke secrets in his bathroom, he tweeted from an unsecure phone during national security briefings, and took classified calls outside, at his club, in front of foreign nationals. Train wreck, as far as security goes.
