I don't understand recess appointments but apparently someone put in office via recess appointment can stay there a maximum of about 2 years before either vacating the office or being confirmed by the senate. I suspect what Trump wants Gaetz to do at Justice could be done in two months. And there'd be a bunch of empty offices for hopefully honest ethical employees too. I wonder how Peter Strzok is making out at CNN(is he still there?), he certainly ain't working in the Federal Government again, at least not until Dems get back in power.
