Attacks into Russia serve multiple purposes. It weakens the resolve and support for the war among the populace, and strategic strikes weaken the ability of the Russian military to supply the front lines.

Putin started the war for a land grab. No different than Hitler invading Poland or Hussien invading Kuwait. Two wars were on the right side of. Putin has intentionally targeted civilians and systematically kidnapped and trafficked children. He then further escalated the war by dragging the North Koreans into it. There are plenty of things that annoy me about Trumpbots, but the reaction to these facts, and they are facts, to blame America first instead of Putin has to be the absolute worst.

We, the United States under Bush said not an inch if you unify Germany. We broke promise after promise, we left the treated in the early 2000s and put missiles near him, staged two coups in the Ukraine, and then just before this kicked off pushed NATO membership for Ukraine.

So to refresh your memory from a few days ago:

2002 we left the ballistic missile treaty, we put in missile systems in Eastern Europe.

Two years later seven countries like Romania and Latvia were invited to NATO. Putin didn’t do anything.

Skipping a few regime changes we were a part of in Ukraine

Then the stupid idea of Ukraine being part of NATO kept being floated. Obama had the common sense not to pursue it during his first term, but Biden started it up again, and Putin invaded. If any country did that near us we'd have been at war a lot earlier.

Trump floated peace after the election and both sides said they were open to it. There is no reason to escalate it now other than the military complex wants more money.
