I guess there is some speculation that DeSantis could appoint Gaetz to fill Rubio's seat, but I highly doubt that. This is all designed to try and keep the report's findings from coming out. I can't imagine DeSantis taking that kind of risk when he has political aspirations for 2028.

Best guest is Gaetz is on Newsmax or something.
