But from my understanding mpox is short for monkey pox and while rare can lead to brain infection. But considering the state that is promoting it I'm good with it.

It's been around for decades without issue but suddenly a reality game show host spends a year telling everyone not to be worried about viruses and now everyone seems to be okay with letting meemaw kick the bucket for something that was entirely prevantable.

Apparently there were two strains going around and I got the one the flu shot didn't cover. It was rough, I was 100% down for the count for 3 days and not right for a full week. Still covid free though 🤷♂️
