Name the last person you remember being canceled

It's just an objective fact.  16M jobs gained.  Economic soft landing after taking over a disaster.  Record stock market.  Brought crime back down from the Trump crime spike.

But I'm sympathetic.  I understand that sometimes words are violence and reading those words hurt you, so I apologize.

I loathe Trump, but you guys gotta stop using the job metric. Covid ending doesn’t make a President a job creating policy wizard.

Literally every President that had job gains used it as a feather in his cap. Why in the world would the President with the most successful single jobs term in history possibly buck that trend?

What’s the net job gain since 02/2020?

152.3m -> 158.5m, or about 4% net new.

We passed "replacement job" territory June 2022 (that's when the workforce surpassed pre-Covid)

We're currently right about where we'd expect to be if the trend pre-Covid continued. 10y chart:

It's to mock the same people who crow about inflation and a "poor economy". They do it with gas prices and "lockdowns" too while conveniently forgetting the timing of it all.

These two are from "The Free Press" and I haven't dug in to verify so take these with a grain of salt at this point.

    • More post-debate polls have now landed, and—contrary to the claims of the Biden campaign—they show that the president has lost ground. The day before the debate, Trump had a 1.6 point lead over Joe Biden in the Real Clear Politics polling average. By Tuesday afternoon, that gap had widened to 2.4 points. (Real Clear Politics)

    • Are things any better in the battleground states? Not according to post-debate internal Democratic polling leaked to Puck. It shows a bloodbath in the states that matter, with the president dropping by about 2 points in "core” battlegrounds. Biden is losing by 10 points in Georgia and Arizona, and is leading by only a tiny margin in places like Virginia, Maine, and New Mexico, once seen as safely Democratic. The survey also shows the president polling behind Kamala Harris. (Puck

No, it'll be so much worse with less inflation and illegals pouring over the border. How will we ever survive?

with the candidates we currently have, i don't think annoying, uncomfortable laughter would be disqualifying.

That's a fair point - honestly hard to imagine she would be worse that the current slate of choices.

Fascism starts when Religious Pastors, start to believe that White people are Superior to Blacks, gays, porn stars, immigrants, and other non whites and brainwash their parishioners to believe the same. They teach them that greed is good if it benefits your family. They support book burning, want to get rid of Education, and control women and treat them as 2nd class citizens. They want a President who is a Dictator who will go after the press and their political enemies with public executions. And they do it all in the name of Jesus.

Now that's a Country I could live in. Freedom for me, but not for you.

Welp, it's official. Sam is voting for Kamala Harris!

Is this the bad butch beach body girl again? Has she ever missed? I submit that she has not.

There it is in B&W.  If the Dems really want to throw a hail mary, it would be replacing Kamala with Whitmer or Michelle Obama. I'm not saying they should or will, but that's the play that could actually work. They need to stop punching themselves in the nuts with this Joe hate.

Not.  I just said she might not be as bad as those other jackwagons.  I would never vote for her - nor for Don or Joe.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself

We are now almost a week post-debate and the Chair of the DNC is touting polls showing a negligible impact and unequivocally saying Biden is the nominee. If there truly were a fire raging behind the scenes as all the talking heads were claiming, I'd have expected to see a lot more smoke from the prominent players by now.
