July 8, 20241 yr The incidence of voter fraud will be so low as to be statistically insignificant, the voter ID thing is a blunt attempt to disenfranchise thousands of legitimate voters and it will disproportionately affect poor and minority voters who traditionally don't hold a passport or can't afford to renew a drivers license. The Republicans know the last bit because the UK Conservative government brought in the exact same legislation for the exact same non existent problem a couple of years ago and that's exactly what happened. It's the opposite of democracy.
