There's really no way he can.  It's why he ran away from the debates in the primaries and why Biden is the only one he was willing to debate.  Biden's too old and doddering to do it, but literally anyone else would call him a rapist on stage.  And once that happens, he's lost.  He can't really hit back and he can't defend it.

This is critical for Harris' chances.

RFK Jr voters are the closest thing we have to "undecideds" and I think he had been bleeding off potential blue voters at a higher rate than he was with red voters (especially post-assassination attempt). But if we continue to see his vote share drop now that Harris is in the race, then maybe she's been able to reverse that trend and square things up a bit.
