It was posted earlier, he confused Willie Brown with Jerry Brown. It's elder abuse.

 

A New York Times report suggests the person Trump was referring to was actually former Governor Jerry Brown and that then-Lieutenant Gov. Gavin Newsom was also on that 2018 helicopter flight. The three were assessing wildfire damage in the decimated town of Paridise when Trump was president.

morning joe covered this today. apparently cheeto did ride in a helicopter with jerry brown back when cali had those really bad wildfires due to insufficient raking. that was jerry brown....not willie brown.  oh, and the heli did not crash or come anywhere close to crashing. they asked newsome, who was also on board. it was a normal flight.

yeah, but normal to trump means almost crashed if not for the quick thinking of capt donny and his immense helicoptoer training during vietnam.

Keep in mind that Biden's campaign ended because he looked old and slow during a debate.  Meanwhile Trump is old, slow, a felon, and batshiz crazy and I'm waiting for the NYT headline on how this harms the Dems.

Every time Trump gets away with the blatant lying he's further emboldened. It's been going on for so long, the lack of accountability from his cult, that now he's just a full on pathological liar. It's how MAGA has wired him. He knows they'll let him get away with anything so on one hand I can't really blame him for just taking what's freely being given.

The problem is the MAGA/Republican base. And I'm beyond the point of caring if I offend anyone, but they're borderline mentally retarded. Like, seriously. The self-immolation is beyond nuts. Of all the people go ATM with on a "populist" movement, they latch on to Donald effing Trump. It's full on insanity. And I believe that deep down they sort of know it. They're hurt in the feelers so now they're going to self destruct.

Trump has set the bar so low, I do not think you can bring him down any much further. Debating him again will be a mistake. He has nothing to lose.

The absolute hate of anyone claiming to be a democrat/liberal has severely damaged their judgement that they continually just let this man get away with what he has gotten away with.  At this point, there will be no correction.  It will continue until he's gone.

Even though Trump has always been shady, unethical, and dumb, his current persona goes back to his dumb reality show.  Everything about that show was fraudulent (as is the case with many "reality" shows).  The "you're fired" thing wasn't even real.  As soon as the show began receiving widespread attention, people within the company said Trump never fires anybody because he hates confrontation -- he had people to do that stuff for him.  The projects he had the contestants doing on each episode were not even college-level assignments.  I've worked with several project managers who said that show was a joke and not representative at all of what an actual Project Manager has to do.  The jobs the contestants were competing for were, in real life, not a responsible management position at all; they were mainly assigned PR jobs with little to no responsibility or avenue for corporate advancement.

Trump was fired by NBC in 2015 for being a bigot toward Mexicans.  The show's ratings plummeted after 2008 because of his birtherism crap and the show should have been cancelled at that point.  Arnold did the show for one season, then declined to return because the Trump stench was sticking to him.  Of course, Trump frames it as 'Arnold was fired and had terrible ratings'.

But Kamala has to detail her policy positions to a national TV audience. That is what the electorate watching is looking for. The problem is the wild card that is Trump onstage dumbing down everything she says to the lowest denominator. It would be better for Kamala if Trump refused to show up and she got the full time alone. Maybe she just baits him into being a complete lunatic.
