I'd caution big time on celebrating this too much. While it won't be the massive takedown we are seeing with the right wing/Russia troll farm, they are very probably going to nab some left wing pro palestinian lefties for doing the same with Iran.

Good, that should be celebrated too. All these people are corrupt losers who sold their souls for the almighty dollar ruble. F all of them, I hope they all get exposed.

A bunch of useful idiots got raided by the Feds a few months back.  Reading between the lines on the indictment, I think they got some flips.

He’s actually so bad at this. The quote isn’t even the worst part.

Wow. Our son started off at a private in-home daycare before our daughter was born. The first woman that took care of him was wonderful. Then she got pregnant and decided to close her business and focus on raising her own kids so we switched him to another in-home daycare. Woman lived in our development. Had all of the requisite clearances and documentation. He was there for a little over a year. Within weeks after we withdrew him because our daughter was about to be born and she didn’t have a spot for her, other parents pressed charges against her for child abuse. Fortunately, we do not believe she ever abused our son, but she was definitely abusive to several of the children under her care. The answer to anything related to child care is absolutely not reducing requirements/regulations or oversight.

When both of our children were in daycare we paid around 25-30k a year. I understand why people opt for cheaper options.

Absolutely. That’s why we had our son at the in-home daycare. After that incident we enrolled both of them at a higher-end daycare facility that had incredible programming for all ages. They were there until they went to kindergarten. We paid I think $12-14k per year per child in central PA. The experiences they received (swimming lessons, art classes, gardening skills, etc) were incredible and worth the investment but I understand that isn’t feasible for everyone even with grants and tuition assistance programs that are out there. My point is just that reducing the burden and restrictions so anyone can open their own daycare center and start taking care of kids isn’t the right answer.

Yep. The answer "Have your parents take care of your children while you work" is such an asinine suggestion. Telling everyone to get married and have lots of kids yet not doing anything to fix maternity leave and child care is a hell of a platform.

Just hire an au pair. At least something to look at around the house.

Good. I really don't care who got bought by who, just that we lock them up.

We paid 22k per year and that was over 10 years ago. It's insane.

Presidential election 'Nostradamus' who has correctly predicted almost every winner for 40 years reveals Kamala Harris as his 2024 pick

Historian Allan Lichtman has finally revealed his prediction for the 2024 election winner, after determining that Kamala Harris has met the critical objectives for victory.

The American University professor, 77, has fashioned his own election model that has correctly forecast every presidential winner since 1984.

He relies on an unorthodox system - ignoring the polls and pundits - based on what he calls '13 keys' to the White House, a model he developed in 1981 alongside his geophysicist friend Vladimir Keilis-Borok.

The model is based on 120 years of presidential election outcomes and even enabled Lichtman to call Trump's unexpected 2016 victory a month before the election.

He then used his tactic to correctly predict the outcome in the 2020 elections.

Explaining the mysterious 13 keys to the New York Times, Lichtman said: 'They are 13 big picture, true-false questions that tap into the strength and performance of the White House party.

The 13 keys include: Midterm gains, incumbency, primary contest, third party, short-term economy, long-term economy, policy change, social unrest, White House scandal, incumbent charisma, challenger charisma, foreign policy failure, and foreign policy success.

Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate needs to lose six of them in order to be declared a loser under the model.

As of last month, she was down only three: having a Party Mandate/Midterm gains, Incumbency, and Incumbent Charisma.'

Listen guys, I'm voting Trump for his policies not him as a person.
