If He were here, our government would run in a way that everyone would be on a level that allows them to take care of themselves and be happy. He isn't, and there are many in this country, both in major cities and in other areas, that need to know where their next meal is coming from. Our cities have become dumps and aren't getting the help they need. So Christianity is about helping other people, but not at the expense of people who we already aren't helping. We also live in a world where we can't help everyone, so choices have to be made. So what it is isn't for me to say, but it's not opening our borders to everyone. It's not communism or socialism in an imperfect world with corrupt leaders. I also love hearing people in a thread who are nasty SOBs to each other, mocking, fighting, belittling, and being outright nasty to each other (myself included), throwing around what a Christian is. Vikas, whatever his beliefs are or aren't, is the nicest MOFO in here. He can throw down when he has to, but he is usually pretty chill to people. I'll listen to people throwing that around when everyone else starts acting like him.

Nate Silver was the farthest thing from bullish on Biden. You're thinking of G Elliot Morris who took over the 538 forecast model (that remained with ABC after Silver was canned) which still painted Biden's chances as favorable.
