It’s pretty cool because it’s in the original building and you can see the rooms with these huge stained glass ceilings and painted murals and they show you the lagering caves and stuff. Lots of interesting history of it. And at the end there’s free beer. 24 minutes ago, DrPhilly said: Genny Cream Ale My grandfather had that on tap in his garage. I haven’t had Genny for the longest time and when I came back up for a bit I grabbed a case for nostalgias sake. My go to cheap mowing the lawn beer these days is Gansett. Publix carries it in Florida. Haven’t seen it in PA though, but usually when I’m back home I try to enjoy the craft scene. There’s a lot of good breweries from the southern tier of NY that are being sold in PA, too.

Certainly not what you'd call a premium beer by today's standards but it was a really good cheap beer back in the day.
September 10, 20241 yr Now is the time for Harris to come out swinging and win the middle ground in the swing states. That along with turnout are the only things that matter now. She needs to find the right balance between maintaining energy on the left while at the same time winning those crucial middle votes and by winning I mean ensuring that those people actually come out to vote and don't vote 3rd party. I think tonight is all about making it personal and getting Trump to go off script and become unhinged. Normally, he does that all on his own but this time he will be on his very best behavior. It will be very interesting to see if he has the patience to deal with her. Muted mics really help him this time around but with any luck it won't be enough and she can goad him into being the true b00b that he is and has always been.

My dad and uncles drank Piels Real Draft and Schaefer.

Yeah, we had Strohs and Piels as well in college. Another one (that sucked) was Goebel. Also, we were pretty close to a military base with a PX that sold kegs of Old Milwaukee for about $20. Nice price but man did that beer suck from a keg and it was pretty much was all we got at all the parties since it was so cheap. 18yr was legal to drink beer/wine in Virginia back then so that was nice.

So I took did the Genny to Gansett transition for my **** outdoor beers ha.

September 10, 20241 yr @Diehardfanis legitimately f king terrified of democrats and is so completely brainwashed by any form of right wing media that he’s barely able to function anymore. That’s what I got out of this thread the last 24 hours. Democrats are parachuting the evil migrants into every American town with full size pet skewers in tow… oh, and he’s still an undecided voter. And remember the little read, New Testament book of Diehardfan, chapter 2, verses 5-7, And then Jesus said "Do whatever you want to do, that’s what it’s all about.”

You know what else isn’t anywhere close to the Susq Valley, where McCormick is from. Pottsville is at least close to the Watershed, and an hour away from where he went to college. Are you really from PA?
