the debate will be mostly a waste of time. no matter what question he's asked, trump will say that the economy (or border) was great under his administration...possibly the best ever...many people are saying that. and the economy (or border) is a disaster under kamala. no details, metrics, facts...nothing. just false claims of how great things were under him & how terrible they are now. he'll basically do that for 90 minutes. no real policy discussion...because he doesn't have policies. just nonsensical claims.

Binary system and I probably leave it blank. I'm still rooting for him. Again, I hate the Giants, but I hate the Patriots worse, and I was in a house full of Eagles fans cheering for Manning. Same thing to me because I see California and want nothing to do with that state.  That doesn't mean I'm buying another Trump jersey even if I'm rooting for him. I just hope we make it through 4 years and move on. He probably won't win and I hope she is better than I expect. 

I'm not a swing voter nationality and never will be. I've never disliked a GOP candidate this way so I do go back between not liking him but wanting him to win cause I hate her more.

You probably hated the Patriots for the same reason I did: They blatantly cheated for years and got away with it.

Most people can connect the dots from there, but apparently not everyone can...

I'm not sure I am. Voting Dem in my state because the GOP is horrible and plan to leave it there since Trump will win here anyway. If it was in doubt I would vote for him no question.

Rooting for the Giants is far worse because it puts my team in a hole. It's against my own self-interest. I don't like the Patriots either but it's better than the alternative.

Right but there is a key group of moderate voters in swing states who might be persuaded to make the effort to actively go vote "against Trump" when they might otherwise have just not bothered to vote or in some cases voted 3rd party.  A nasty Trump may also help ensure a larger turnout from younger Harris voters in those same states.  Swing state turnout is the key driver now.
